  • So....many....memorable quotes....

  • My Favorite Movie Of All Time! Just Watched It Today

  • Why did the Mad Hatter use butter, sugar, tea, a fork, jam, and a lemon to break the watch?.

  • Actually, technically it's just The Hatter. The Mad Hatter was Jervis Tetch, an enemy of Batman.

  • I had to do this scene for our school play! I'm the door mouse!! SQUEAK! See how cute I am! ^_^ xD

  • Put transcribe audio on....

  • @TheGiaroo "she doesn't know what i don't know"

  • @xXSami90Xx The recent Tim Burton film.

    Though it wasn't a remake.

  • 2 days slow, thats what it is

  • "Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

Edgar Allen Poe. He wrote on both.

  • it goes from 8:19 to 8:21 ??????

  • How to make a Mad Watch

    1. Take a pocket watch, shake it, dump it in tea, open it up, pour some sugar in it, pick out some of it's wheels

    2. Rub butter, pour tea, place two spoons, rub jam, NO MUSTARD!! and squeeze lemon on the watch and close.

    3. clean mess and let go!

WARNING if watch goes mad, it is called a Mad Watch and you stop it by smashing it with a mullet! XD

  • @mayhirai123 mallet that would be very interesting to smash something with a mullet :p

  • Why'd they have to wreck his watch?? Someone needs to tell them to GET A JOB

  • 18 people didn't get any tea either

  • Comment removed

  • "have a cup of tea indeed" She never gets her tea!

  • "she dosen't know what an un-birthday is!"

    "That's Just silly"

Oh Just those words make me laugh

  • it's so annoying that alice never gets to enjoy her tea

  • Bad watch bad watch bad watch, smash rofl

  • Sugar?

Sugar! Two spoons, yes that right. two spoons

    my favorite bit :)

  • and when you come to the end, STOP you see. lol

  • feeling Unloved because its not your Unbirthday :D

  • shes moves to slow and with precision slower than an old man with a cane has smaller feet than a kid or ballerina! Baby Feet! Shes overlly sarcastic to the point!

  • Comment removed

  • the idea inside this film is very philosophical !!

  • "Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

"Riddles? Lets me see now, why, is a raven, like a writting desk?"

    "I beg your pardon?"

"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

    'WHY IS A WHAAA?"

    Lol...

  • @AuroraBorealisAK "Careful, she stark R-R-RAVEN mad!

  • @MrTitanic46 This part is so funny!

  • ce-aa- tee .. thea!! half a cup if you don't mind. love that part :-)

  • I don't know why, but that plate dipped in tea looks so damn good.

  • I love the clap at 6:57!

  • "Muthtard?! Don't letth be thilly."

  • I'm as MAD as a Hatter. "In this size ten and six!"

  • "MAD WATCH! MAD WATCH!"

  • I get to play the March Hare in our school musical this year ;D

  • @Liveinlivingcolor1 Lucky >:I

  • the madd hatter looks like Dustin Hoffman from mr magorium

  • Did someone else notice that 10/6 in the mad hatter's hat equals to 1.666... ?

  • I love how the March Hare's nose twitches right here 4:43 and right here 5:30 :D

  • Is there any sense in nonsense? Reason in rhyme? Method to madness? Or our we all mad? watch?v=Iq8cBojjfQY

  • without a doubt, one of, IF NOT THE GREATEST scene in Disney History :) Thumbs up if you agree!

  • the voice for the Mad Hatter, is that the same voice as Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins?

  • When they destroy the clock it's TEA TIME. :)

  • alice is trippin balls.

  • 17 people don't celebrate Unbirthdays.

  • LOL Alice was sitting on the riverbank with Voldemort!

    I mean, V-O-L-D-E-M-O-R-T.

    MAD HATTER: Tea?!

ME: Yeah. She was sitting with the Dark Lord and they were drinking tea.

  • Has anyone else noticed that in the merchandise for this movie, the Mad Hatter upstages the March Hare even though they're equally as important in the movie and the book? I mean, the Mad Hatter is a meetable character in Disney World. The March Hare isn't. There's a plushie of the Mad Hatter currently in the Disney store, but not of the March Hare. This really bugs me, especially since I'm a big March Hare fan. That's the problem I had with the Tim Burton movie, too.

  • I can tell the storymen were having fun coming up with visual gags that have to do with tea. My favorites include the pot that you have to crack like an egg and "just half a cup".

  • 3:52 Would you like a little tea with your sugar, Alice?

  • I don't think Alice ever actually DRANK a cup of tea during that whole scene...

  • @SteamboatDanny No, she didn't. Not only because of this "clean cup, move down" stuff, also of them asking her questions and that chatting.

  • This scares the shit out of me :)

  • My watch...

    IT WAS?!?!?!??!

  • i wanna have a unbirthday party

  • 2 days slow, thats what it is....

  • a ravens like a writing desk because they both end up making flat notes. Lewis Caroll said so himself.

  • @xandrawood and neither is put with the wrong end in front

Lewis Caroll actually said there was never meant to be any answer, cause it was so ridiculous, but people kept asking "well what is the answer anyway?" and so he gave them one in the second book

  • @xandrawood I Dont Make Flat Notes LOL

  • @raven8344 ha i was like, "wait he's calling himself a desk? what? oh, a raven LOL!"

  • I actually find this scene deeply upsetting. When I first watched it when I was about five years old, I didn't think anything of it at all. Now, I can hardly deal with it.

  • My watch is 2 days slow :(.

  • I have an excellent idea! Let's change the subject. I love this movie ^_^

  • Look at that!

    Its gone mad!

    Oh my goodness.

    oh dear!

Mad watch! Mad watch! Theres only one way to stop a mad watch! *pulls hammer out of nowhere then smashes!*

two days slow that what it is.

    i love these guys

  • a very Merry Unbirthday too me ^^

  • did he say "dont lets be silly"

  • @thatsnotchocolat If you meant the Mad Hatter, after he thought mustard was a bad idea, yes, he said that.

  • @thatsnotchocolat no, actually it's "don't let's be silly" :P

  • @thatsnotchocolat yep he sure did "Don't let's be silly" :p

  • @thatsnotchocolat Lemon, that's differenter.

  • Why is a raven like a writing desk? They have been written on...The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe...you write on a writing desk.

  • but,but,butter

  • My Favorite Part

  • If you think about what he's saying it's actually very brilliant, it makes a lot of sense.

  • @jaredabccrisscross Totally. It's funny, and masks itself as being silly, but you can see that it is all intelligently premeditated, or rather, spontaneous. But it's not your raw random stupidity machinegunned all around.

  • 3:50 Cocaine80's

  • thank you so much for posting!

  • poor white rabbit =/ oh well

  • jam = cocain to mice in wonderland

  • tht mouse is so stoned..lol

  • She's stark RAVEN mad!

  • 4:43 Truer words have never been spoken...

  • i have a question for u all ..... can people be tippsy from drinking to much tea

  • its kinda weird looking back at the old version and now that the mad hatter and alice are a couple

  • My younger sister and I got this film some time ago. One day my mom bought a cake. I asked, "It's no one's birthday." Mom says, "It's an unbirthday!" She then held up a videocassette of this film! :) My sister and I watched the film lots of times. It was one of our favorites,

  • Today's my unbirthday too! :D

  • 5:33 'i have an exellent idea, let's change the subject'

  • this Part of the film shows The effects of some particular Drugs...

    Cocaine and Morphine

  • Many people don't know Lewis Carrol was a physicist who was intrigued by higher dimensional planes, such as the fourth dimension. Since he wanted to convey what living in a higher dimension would be like, he wrote Alice in Wonderland, where the protagonist falls through a wormhole into a higher dimensional plane.

  • 15 people either had a very happy unbirthday or had there clocks buttered, teaed, sugared, jamed, MUSTARDED, and Lemoned.... or both xD

  • 15 people werent invited to the tea party

  • Alice: you know who.

    Hatter: I do.?!?!

    Alice: i mean my C-A-T

    Hatter: TEA.?!

    hahahahahaa EPIC.!!!!

  • @FireFist711 just half a cup if you don't mind! :P

  • 3:20

    I must be crazy

Just now, I was thinking 'Looks delicious'

  • she cant get her god damn shroom tea

  • Two days slow thats what it is.

  • They are almost as crazy as the political tea party.

  • i want to know what is in that tea and get me some!

  • Stop! Those hats are made with MERCURY!

  • Today's my unbirthday!

thumbs up if it's yours as well!

  • mad watch... try mad hare and mad hatter!

  • That laugh at 2:00 just makes my day.

  • This is probably just a coincidence, but does anyone think it's weird how the Mad Hatter and March Hare have the same initials? Like the Skeksis and the Mystics, they're the same person split in two! *lol*

  • The mustard part is funny and the mad watch.

  • pause at 2:32 for DERP bunny face

  • VERT VERY UNBIRTHDAY TO ALL!! :D

  • this whole movie is a single trip.. waaaaay better than this new disney- crap burton made out of it.. still sad about this poor remake:( but i really wouldn't consider the original as a child's movie. its just too sick^^

  • How IS a raven like a writing desk?

  • @KakashiLover2111 I haven't the slightest idea...

  • the raven and the writing desk were both written by edgar allen poe!

  • @sindaras

No! They both start with the letter B! :D

  • @moraz21 Well Played!

  • Comment removed

  • "Start and the beginning" "Yes!! And when you come to the end........STOP"

  • Imagine the amount of drawings it took to do this scene! They move as fast as lightening and each little movement is a drawing! Omg! :O

  • alot of cocaine

    3:47

those fuckers are too damn drugged

  • alice in wonderland was very scary to me when i was a kid

  • This is what the inside of my head looks like... always.

  • i live in cheshire ive seen the house were the man took the tripp and come up with this amazing peace yalll

  • on mad hatter 's hat it says 10/6, what does it mean?

  • @ariadnelol It has something to do with the price of the hat .

  • @ariadnelol 10 shillings and 6 pence, the price of the hat, can also be said as ten and six or a half guinea

  • @ariadnelol That is the price of the hat... 10 pounds and 6 pieces.... I am not too familier with the british currency...But you get the idea

  • careful- shes stark raaaven mad!

  • 4:15 - This may be the most context-accurate that the March Hare will ever be (in a 1951 cartoon, no less). The phrase "mad as a March hare" comes from hares being madly aggressive during the height of their mating season. The March Hare needs to be HORNY, and I'm surprised that no filmmaker has yet to make that. *lol*

    HARE:

You might as well say that 'I see what I do' is the same thing as 'I do what I see!'

    HATTER:

Well, that IS the case with YOU, Marchy! ;D

  • I feel bad for the white rabbit... But boy, are those two awesome!!!

  • Ah, the best Alice in Wonderland film is the version of 1999, with Martin Short as the Hatter.

  • 4:01-4:08 and Captain Obvious is born...

  • What is the meaning of the 10/6 on the mad hatters hat?

  • @SamLuvsJamesDean 10 shilling sixpence, Old British currency

  • MUSTARD!?!?!?! Lets not be silly!

Does this clip ever get old!?

  • @CrazyBlackMidget *320348 replays later* nope
