@iamparm i know you didn't ask me but right now FL Studio is perfect. master it for sampling. id recommend parting with a little cash for a MIDI Controller. and your ready to go!

@iamparm Don't mean to creep, but I'm using FL right now too due to budget purposes and I was looking into getting an MPD. An MPD, as opposed to an MPC, is simply a midi controller and only samples MP3s off a computer and triggers them in a sound program on a computer to record. Essentially does the same thing as an MPC but works with FL, Reason, Logic, etc and is MUCH cheaper. Hope this helps.
