@xXTurdSandwitchXx I remember theres a clip somewhere where adam specifically was asked when they were going to investigate 9/11. He said they had already talked about it and it was a project they'd like to do, but given the tight filming schedules budgets, trying to make a scale model of 2 100 story buildings and have the results be accurate, It most likely will never be done, and given the fact that while their show in science based, its not perfect and they get things wrong I hope they don't

Other then being mainstream... discovery does pay their bills, and they have cancelled myths before to avoid losing add revenue, which i find annoying, but they do work for discovery not own it... so I put the blame on discovery.

No, it's actually really difficult to test some things. For instance, explosives on the supports would cause a building to collapse in on itself. Funnily enough, so would melting a steel core if that core ran through the entire building. Testing things like that would require much more money.

To test the moon landing they would need a shuttle, quite a few highly trained people and a couple billion dollars since they're doing this once. Besides, more than likely

Besides, you all have a vested interest. One half needs the government to have succeeded so it can stay in power, the other half needs it to be a conspiracy so they don't need to support the government anymore, pay taxes, whatever.

So no matter what they come up with if they test a myth, someone, somewhere is going to think they've sold out.

And yea, Discovery funds them. If they were funded by you, you have a say. 'shrugs'

I am lucky to have taken the Tribology course as an engineer, my school is one of around 8 in the country that even offer such a class. The equations are wonderfully long for even the most simple approximations.
