  • can you please please tell me how to take care of live plants, i currently have fake plants (look my video to see it} but i want to get live plants i think they look better and will help my tank on nitrate and ammonia. what do i need to keep live plants. please any info will be appreciate it. thank you

  • breathtaking!!! good job!

  • would a tank that size be safe upstairs. ive just ordered a 135 litre tank to replace my 65 litre tank thats in my bedroom. its 70cm by 40cm by 55cm.

  • @wolverine1865 i wondered the same thing! But think of it logically - 135 litre is roughly 135kg or 21 stones. If a fat person sat on ur bedroom floor, would they fall through?...of course not so yes it would be safe

  • your fish swim like crazy

  • Nice

  • Are you running a sump beneath your aquarium, your tank looks really good.

  • Nice, are you using just the stock lights that came with the tank?

  • wow thats great!!! check out mine

  • Amazing set up,you speed up the recording don´t ya? ;))

  • Beautiful tank. the fish are very active! i think the wild untamed growth of the Vals is great!

  • Very beautiful one. Looks so harmonic.

  • I saw this tank in 101 Best Aquarium Plants, went home and based my 200 Litre on it, then filled it with Serpae Tetras...love it! Not so easy to get hold of good Crinium Calamistratum but well worth it...thanks for the inspiration!

  • love the tank and do you have any tips for me on crypts i just got one and i want it to live long what do you do?

  • Love the tall plants and the light gravel contrast in the middle. Those fish are flying...what is the long tall plants? Onions? Val? looks great man

  • First-class video! Very nicely formed aquarium! Charming admissions!

  • One of the best aquariums I've ever seen. 5 stars!

  • veeerrry nice tank..... do you use co2?..... check out my 35 gallon...

  • Very impressive tank gf225. Lovely to look at.

  • nice plants and danios there fast

  • Hey, the long plants in there. Are they vallisneras?dang they look good. U should give angels a try. They are awesome. Wait, actually. I dont think itd be a good idea. Cuz you got barbs in there. U should still give it a try. Angels are awesome.

  • dear sir,

    Do you jap with co2?

  • In order to get such a planted tank to last for any length of time there are 3 essential criterias

    (1) Proper lighting

    (2) regular triming

    (3) Sufficient addition of iron-rich fertilizer

  • nice tank and i was wondering what type of substrate did you use

  • that is one brilliant looking tank! are you using the standard juwel lights or did you upgrade them?

  • do you have co2 in there?

  • You might want more light than that if you want them to grow healthy. I have a few of those and abunch of others in my 55 gallon planted, and it has a 108 watt ligh on it.

  • wow that is a realy nice tank what fish are in it

  • read the more info tab dude :OP

  • oh ha

  • Very very nice. Thanks for sharing!!!!

  • nice tank how long did it take for the plants to get so big also is the tank layered with a lot of gravel or not...

  • awesome looking tank, fish look a little hyper though (relative to my Betta & Cory anyway lol). The plain white background ( or lack of a background)just looks so simple yet elegant.

    # what are those tall grass-like plants?

  • Those are valisnerias i think

  • Whats the stock? Did you feed them or something because they look really active.

  • wow, really nice. well done

  • Nice tank George, Do you have CO2 on this tank?? i ask as i notice you have some surface movement which would drive of any CO2 gas.

    >>WRONG

  • quite excellent scape

  • since these are low light plants what kind of light is needed for them? I want to experiement with a planted aquarium but don't want to buy a high intensity light.

  • Thanks Ste.

Yes, I inject CO2 using a 2Kg pressurized system and Rhinox 2000 glass/ceramic microbubble diffuser.

I like a lot of surface movement as it ensures good O2 at night. I inject CO2 24/7 to keep my pH more stable, as my crpyts melt otherwise.

Although the surface agitation does drive off CO2, I simply add more to compensate. It only costs me £10 for 2Kg, that lasts over 6 months.

  • can you show a new video...nearly?
