what on earth does that have to do with this video? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
with a please, i might. !
Never mind. I already uploaded the Alagiah version (c/o TV Ark). It's nice. You go to the first WNT video then look at "video responses".
Also do the one of George Alagiah's with the intro like that, damokovacs.
i wonder if the World News Today - Nik Gowing edition is intended for asian viewers... because i always see this at 05:00 PHIL/HK...
while the WNT - George Alegiah edition is intended for the US viewers...

oh no, I think the 1200GMT is for that instead, 'cos it's shown here in HK at 1900 (1200BST) or 2000 (1200GMT)!

Maybe I'm too sensitive lol. I've never seen this except on the 10 o'clock news weekly podcast!

I think its the presenters choice how they want to be infront of that desk. Mike leans on it, Jonathan Charles once sat on it but is far to short! So he just stands now.
theyve done it in all most every evening edition of WNT.
When did they start sitting on the desk? Can't remember seeing that last week....

I don't see whats wrong with it.
Sitting on the desk is informal! Why they did that on BBC World?
