anyone read this probally wont understand this comment but i skateboard and i try to jump off stuff when i land on the skateboard with my knee above my toes just like the 3rd exercise in this video my ankle hurts super bad and how do i make so that it does not hurt when i land example at 2:22
@bhanskate LOOL i'm here for the same reason , i sprained my ankle badly on the 24th of june and i still cant start skating :S but i'm doing exercises and my doctor told me to do these same exercises so i guess we just gotta work that ankle up so we can get back on that board.. oh and also my doc said dont use ankle bands to have more support cuz its bad..
i broke my Tibia and Fibula and i was in a cast for over 16 weeks and my ankle was sooo stiff and i couldn't do really anything because of it, ever since i found your video my ankle has progressed and progressed now i can walk and i will be able to do so much more thanks to you.
@BryanChung84 i tore my ankle joint ligaments too the only thing i did is the simple exercises and ye i didn't listen the doctor too much he kept on saying don't do this for 6months don't do that for a year,pffff that sucked so i just continued the normal life and always walked ran and played with ankle brace even though i had pain but now after some months i feel good even that sometimes when i shoot a soccer ball hard i feel some pain so i just wanna tell you to don't worry a lot about it.
@gabrielm9710 Hi yes it did. Just that it's quite prone to injury again. Have to be careful. :) And the size of the injured ankle seems slightly bigger than my non-injure one.
I dislocated my ankle in early May - this is perfect in between my physio appointments to get me moving again - thank you! I also broke my tib/fib which meant I was off my leg for 7 weeks too.
ye i did mine a few years ago and i stopped rolling over my ankles. I had some birth disorder that it didnt develope the muscle that stabilizes the rotation disc. After doing these for a bit they stopped rolling over, but now like a year later im starting up again.
Thank you for the vid Scott. I have weak ankles from always spraining them when I was younger. I'm 27 now I should have been doin these. I'm working on my vertical these will help a lot.
if you dont have that pad , a pillow also works

also, i tend to do about 3x as much as stated in the video... sometimes i do 40 each, just so i can actually feel my ankle working.
