@tzjc24 I think Thom and Bjork should do a duet EP. I think it'd be a bit overkill to have Radiohead all in on it or to do an entire album. I think they could make a great ambient electronic EP though. That's just my opinion though. It would be sweet either way I guess....
@edobriensgrin I dont think they did this to try annd out do bjork i think out of any band out today radiohead enjoy music the most and enjoy others music and appreciate it the most. so if i did a song and radiohead covered took time to learn and redo it i would feel like ive accomplished something.
I don't know if this is an official "version". It has the feeling of a work through. I mean when they decided to cover this song they clearly wanted to do something different with it and it seems like thom is feeling out his vocals and the melody. To compare this to Bjorks version is just kinda weird being as this is a work in progress.
wow i love them both but i never imagined this...it's awesome! i like it with Bjork better tho....lol sorry just being honest...the song fits her voice way better...but nice try thom. You still my favorite tho.
@TheGreenman4444 He has better vocal control because Thom's style is limited which is not necessarily a bad thing. He only only sings a certain range of pitches which is effective but safe. Bjork improvises into wild vocal ranges during her performances which you might deem as "uncontrollable". That's what she's known for. So it's inaccurate to say this is better because he has better vocal control.
I really love Björk's version, no doubt, it's great, it's haunting, yet she can't put such emotion in there, as Thom does. Must be one of those extremely rare instances, where a song has actually gotten better, even perfected, by being covered. But then, this is Radiohead and I guess they would round out just about any song...
What a most beautifull song!! with Thom singing what better combination could you ask for! he could sing me up to heaven!! almost sounds old fashoined and classical mixed together! wonderfull!
Great video! To the people that wanted to download, its so easy. In your URL location bar type the letters "pwn" in front of "youtube", and hit enter.
@lwclare Actually it was just for "I've Seen It All", and only Thom collaborated with her. The awesomeness of that song shows why the world really needs a collab album from them right now!
@TearInTheirHands Thom and Bjork collaborated in the album 'Selmasongs' which was for her movie 'Dancer in the Dark'. And they can both be seen in episode 86 of "Space Ghost Coast to Coast- Knifin' Around". IT'S HILARIOUS and you can watch it on here!!
I was going to say this sucks but that's only because I rarely listen to Radiohead but I say it's an OK Björk Guðmundsdóttir cover but Björk's version is a little better imo ^^
I am so ashamed I never heard of this song, I know the original Björk Song, and got all albums of Radiohead, and of course I like this version, though I think Björk did an more intensiv version.
