  • it is sad to see that thanks to the American collectors and museums, artists from Europe dont exist. It is weird to see stupidity in museums just because americans think that conceptual and installation artists are geniuses.

  • picasso was most definitely taught to paint academically, what are you talking about, and what books have you read? Even if that painting is not his, you can see reminences of his academia background in his paintings from the rose, and blue period.

    Even in the new york times the news appeared, but by simple observation is obvious to the one trained in painting, that the academic paintings were not from his hand.

    Painting is like writing, there is a trail the artist leaves. Sometimes with more academic styles the differences are hard to find diferences from a master to a student for example.

  • @trueshit12 He left the academy early and chose to paint differently from the standard structure taught at the time.
