  • jus watched this episode on netflix....love it. love JD's slip up...this is what made the show awesome: emotional investment in characters n their stories. awesome song too

  • Can't help but smile when you watch this :)

  • I think the meaning of the song doesn't necessarily have to refer to god. Yes the band wrote it for him but it can also deal with the much bigger aspect of love and friendship. That to me is what this scene represents.

  • @wombat909

    dude , JD's awesome :P

I laughed so hard when he screwed up xD

  • Dude that's awesome that they played Kutless on Scrubs all glory To God

  • I miss this show, but I've seen it about 4 times now >.>

  • Can watch this a million times but still bring a tear to my eye

  • this is what im gonna miss in scrubs those emotional momments & the great songs

  • the 3rd time i watch this is when i start to tear up...weird....

  • man scrubs owned everything up to season 8...

but season 9 is just the biggest shit i've ever seen

i mean siriously!! scrus without zach braff?????

i miss the old scrubs so damn!!

  • ...I don't get what it has to do with the song, unless they're praising God for their baby.

  • scrubs is the best show ever its got me and my gf closer 2gther then ever with the stuff JD sas, if you watch it then you know what im talking about

  • Kutless is amazing.

  • JD: yeah we are :Dlol

  • carla - we having a baby

JD - yeah we are xD

  • The song selection is perfect.....as usual.

  • ahh i love this episode!!!!! and i love how dr cox smiles :)

  • thumbs up if you guys think this is the best scrubs ending ever!

  • sat next to john micah, -kutless's lead singer- in church a few sundays ago.

  • I absolutely love this scene, just for the fact that everyone seems so god damn happy for Carla, makes me so happy yet so jealous :/.

    Meh, love this scene anyway.

  • i had to delete whole scrubs seasons coz of some reasons... but i kept this episode 16th ..jus coz of this scene.... :) love to watch it again and again ... expressions are priceless... the way elliot reacts , jumps and hugs ...awesome .. the way coz raises to carla... awesome .. :) Best scene ever... music AWESOME ....

  • this is my favorite scrubs scene by far. it always makes me smile (:

and kutless' song fits perfectly into the scene.

  • the show has alot of good christian music/bands, anyone know if that is solely on purpose? a great show :) i need to watch the last season!

  • oh yes... love this song and its a great episode!!

  • WATCHING THIS SCENE MAKES ME WISH I WAS THERE FRIENDS AND I WAS IN THIS SCENE WITH THE SONG IN THE BACKGROUND AS WELL

AND WHO THE HELL IS THAT DUDE CARLA HUGS AT THE END LOL

  • @KnightOfLightning I don't know.....ISN'T IT AN AWESOME SONG ANYWAYZ! YUH! (=^_^=)

  • This is one of my favourite scenes because it's a perfect example of what makes this show so good. The believability of the characters friendships. It's as realistic as a TV show can get.

  • There is a really sweet bond between Carla and JD

  • Did JD just have a beer bottle in his hands?

I thought he hated beer and was more into the appletini's!

  • @M4Shanks, That was the season finale cast party. Technically, that was Zach Braff, not J.D..

  • elliot is actually actint

carla thinks that elliot and keith aren't together anymore

  • "yeah we are" XD

  • whats the song called?

  • @shivam241 OMFG retarded?

  • @shivam241 All the words -Kutless

  • definately one of the top scubs endings and the song choice once again just reflected and expounded that. :) Scrubs is awesome!!

  • dr. cox would say: "daisy, that was sooo dorian!"

  • Great song and one of my favorite scenes from this show!!

  • This is an awesome clip and song with the dose of comedy by JD. lol.

  • slaaaap! :D

  • so is this song about Jesus? that's kinda cool

  • @Hezitupp Yes

  • @Hezitupp yes its by the christian band Kutless

  • so is this song about Jesus? that's kinda cool

  • because...she needs an excuse for crying when she saw carla.

  • great show coupled with an amazing song

  • Why does elliot slap keith LOL

  • I love this part, it made me well up. It's such a beautiful scene, for such a hilarious and not all the time serious show. I loved it

  • he could've went "When Turk first told me..."

    "What?"

"When he first told me that he wanted a baby with you......"

  • Omgosh Dr. Cox looks just like my dad its scary! I LOVE THIS SCENE MY FAV!

  • Watched this last night, had to find the song :)

  • omg....i love this part !

    great song! great scene!

  • JD is such a thick idiot. Great episode though, I wanted to cry Lol.

  • THIS IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF ALL TIME!!! It gets to me everytime :')

  • Dr Cox just after Carla says 'I'm pregnant'; that always gets me...

  • this band rocks :)

  • one of my favourite scenes from scrubs ever! series 8!!!! excited much :D

  • this scene keeps giving me chills!!!

  • this song is thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat great :'-) *snif*

    xD ^^

  • Such joy can only be accented enough by a beautiful praise and worship song. *sigh*

  • lmao elliot smacking keith ^_^

  • just love this scene! ♥

  • love kutless ;)

  • y does this song sound diffrent om this :O

  • me too. and its great to see cox laughing xDD

  • haha i´ve watched this episode a few minutes ago..and thought about this song at the end of the episide.. -> google -> and realized that i heard this kutless song a few years ago when they performed in germany ;D

in german: kutless ist toll und scrubs ist mindestens genauso toll :D ..aber ich wusste einfach das ich dieses lied kenne xD

  • I love this ending so much! The music just fits in so well! <3

  • this scene gives me goosebumps

  • i cant believe scrubs ended....makes me so sad.

  • there's gonna be a season 9 with a different format braff & chalke are coming back for 6 episodes to help & turk cox & janitor are gonna be regulars but i still guess your right that it ended in its current state

  • yeah. ive heard about that but even if it happens i dont think it could ever be the same.

  • I love scrubs, but i honestly don't want a season 9. It ended beutifully at season 8 and i think it would be a bad move to make another season after such a great send off.

And because of that, if there is a season 9, I don't think I would watch it...

  • this is an awesum song, made me feel mint when i seen this scene

  • kinda cool Scrubs used a Christian song

  • I know, right?!?!?!?! I'm a believer who adores Scrubs and I was pretty surprised when I heard Kutless' song playing in the background of this scene. However, God can totally use a show like Scrubs to reach out to people if he wants to =)

  • I love when Carla says "Who cares, we're having a baby, we're having a baby." and JD says "Yeah we are".

  • simply awesome!! scrubs rules, this scene always makes me cry... the only other scene in scrubs that does that to me is the funeral scene in season 3 when ben died... i also cried when they played chasing cars in grey's anotomy in the season 2 finale... if you have seen that scene you will know what i mean

  • I love this!!!

  • why doesnt this song get nearly as much of attention as it should!! its sooo good and i never hear about it before this scrubs episode. best episode by the way

  • Yeah. You're right, sadly. Because the Christian industry has a lot of great artist like Kutless, Mat Kearney, and Relient k...

  • But thats not necessearily a bad thing, because if it became mainstream, could you imagine all the bad that would insune

  • No. Christian music has come into the mainstream if it sounds mainstream. In my opinion, I don't know the difference between a mainstream C to A over a Christian C to A...

  • swiiitchfooot you´ve forgotten switchfoot ;P

  • Not a switchfoot fan but yes. Them too. lol But they're mega cross over.

  • I love how JD or should I say Zach Braff hugs some random blonde chick at the very end haha...like "hey why not, great way to hug a pretty girl" lolll.

  • Since this isn't an overtly christian tv series, (unlike, say, Touched by an Angel), I'm honestly surprised they didn't "censor" it by having the name of Jesus drowned out or something. Even in American Idol, when the 8 finalists sang Shout to the Lord by Darlene Zschech, they replaced the name "Jesus" with the word "Shepherd". Guess I stand corrected

  • That was on the semi-finale. I think they got some bad rep about that because they sang it again with "My Jesus, My saviour" in the finale. Which was nice.

  • Its hardly noticeable here really XD

And besides, though not being overtly religious, it has been the centerpoint of several characters/episodes. Dr. Cox's born-again Christian Sister (and her believing her Religion to be what Cox hated about her) was a big part in "My New God", and Nurse Laverne Roberts heavy dependence on Faith in God and that all that happens is in his plan (A large part of "My No Good Reason") It wouldn't do well to Censor themselves here with what else they do.

  • This must be my favourite song from the show.

    It's so beautiful.

    Almost brought me to tears

  • This Touch Me Sooo *__*

  • Me too x_X

    I don't know why lol

  • Wow i was suprised atleast theres some presence of God in the face of the liberal community and the incoming adminsitration.

  • Kutless is an awesome Christian band and i was surprised when i first saw this.

  • I was really surprised that Kutless song was on Scrubs!

  • AHH!! i can't find this song anywhere!!

  • Look up All of The words by Kutless.

  • why did elliot slap that guy?

  • Elliot knew about the pregnancy before Carla did and she almost slipped and let out the secret. Instead, to cover up, Elliot told Carla that she was fighting with Keith. Everytime Carla would walk into Elliot and Keith, Elliot would act mean towards him.

  • LOL i love that its soooo funny and I also love the part where Carla says "we're having a baby" and then JD says "Yeah we are" lol

  • Elliot loves babies and would start crying whenver she looked at Carla she knew Carla was pregnant(who didnt know herself),so Carla asked why she was crying, she told her Keith(the guy she slapped)broke up with her so she had to pretend for most of the episode.

  • Women slap man for any reason... but let a man even so look at a woman the wrong way, and man... he's in trouble. He doesn't even have to touch her, and he's attacked by society.

  • Errm okay not sure what your talking about,Obviously you havent seen the episode soo.....

  • @icedude11214 haha^^ i always got to laugh at these scene ^^

  • this is one of the best moments of turk, along with the proposal in the park.

  • you go kutless, they are without no doubt spreading gods word and by getting onto a show that is shown on NATIONAL tv and onto Rock Band 2 their popularty will grow and mabey more will be change by them as i was.

  • Nothing better than the awesomeness of Kutless and Scrubs coming together as one...Best combo ever!!

  • LOL when elliot slaps the guy

  • one of my favorite bands and one of my favorite shows! absolutely perfect!

  • cant find a more increadably amazing show!

love every litlle moment of it.

  • 10/10 in my opinion. Todd also impress me, he's in every single clip in the end. I guess the Todd can be anywhere he is needed.

  • Gives me goosebumps °.° ... you're right, it's so damn perfect!

  • I dont see how this show doesnt have more fans. After all, its the highest rated comedy show on TV now, ahead of The Office.

  • Todd acted apporiate... is this a dream. God I love this scene

  • At the first time I watched this scene, I was

so touched and just couldn't help crying. It's really a beautiful scene and the music's awesome as well. Scrubs, my favorit show ever!!

  • such an amazing scene, song fits it perfectly!

  • Kutless ROCKS! And it does fit the scene, I think. Not that I've ever actually seen Scrubs.

  • omg when i heard this song on scrubs i was like omg my fave band are on one of my fave tv shows lol

  • perfection....

  • this is the rare moments when a song and a scene fit perfectly perfectly together!

  • "a little you...with a lot of you.."

    it gives me butterflys

  • I love this scene, its touching and emotional, the song fits perfect and everyone seems so happy, how they all are in their hearts.

  • this is such a great worship song. and scrubs RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Love this song! It fits so well with the scene!!! Scrubs if my fav show ever!!!! I cant wait 4 season 8

  • love the scene, and the song fits perfectly!!

  • This was one of those moments.

  • i cant believe kutless was in scrubs. it kinda makes me want to watch the show! =) but i probably wont.

  • you definitely should...i watched all of them starting at the first episode and by this one its gettin to be my favorite show

  • when i watch this scene, i cry over and over again.

  • I knew this was Kutless. The voice sounded familiar and it was a worship song.... ON SCRUBS. lol They have songs like this on there time to time... I wouldn't be shocked it the producers were Christians or something.

Great scene. I just saw it.

  • I just saw this episode on Comedy Central. I heard the words "I lift up my hands and I worship you" and my ears perked up. Wow, you don't always hear a worship song on a sitcom. Scrubs Rocks!

  • I love this scene...

  • It's moments like this that remind how great a show Scrubs really is.

BTW, I love it when Eliot slaps Keith, it kills me everytime! lol

  • I cry everytime I watch this. It's so beautiful. Best scene in scrubs ever!

  • J030366 i personally think it goes well with this clip because its do with feelings that people have trouble explaining and it goes with this clip because Turk and carla are so happy about having a baby they cant explain how they feel

  • maybe if you just take the words,

    but there are some points about it;

the music is made to worship Jesus and God

this video is made to tell just a story about humans and bla bla so far i dont know the series.

so thats why im saying it doesn't fit becouse the music and the vid have both other meanings

and oke, if the music wasn't to worship God i would haven't say this!

  • the only line in there about god was i lift up my hands and i thank you Jesus... which does fit with the video because they tried hard for a baby and it's a blessing that they're thankful for, but i understand where you're coming from

  • i dont they chose this song because of the lyrics, it fits the tone o wats happening here.this is a mellow song, with kinda emotional qualities, same as the video.the lyrics arent the complete meaning of wat a song is about.

  • Turk has a moustache!! No!!

  • beautiful song and this song goes so well with this scene. beautiful in both aspects! i love this song and scrubs!

  • I always liked the black dude in Clueless.

  • The guy's name is Arnold Faison I believe. He was also in Remember the Titans.

  • Donald Faison lol - Arnold :))

On a side not look through the crowd to Dr Cox and Jordan at like 2:20, 2:21. You would think they are a real life couple as that certainly wouldnt be scripted.

  • Thanks for the correction, there was a black dude named Arnold on Different Strokes (Gary Coleman), maybe that is where I got the names mixed up.

  • It is possible that the hug could be scripted. Extras would do that as well if the director motioned them to.

  • Doubt it would be scripted though.

  • All of the relationships look very real and not scripted, its funny though cause the actress that plays Jorden is actually the directors wife, how akward is that?lol

  • lol

the song goes "jesus" and then laverne pops out :D

  • damn scrubs is da best show

  • OMG! JD is sometimes so stupid! But a great ending to that show! And I love this song!!! Congradulations Carla and Turk!

  • That was one of the best endings to a scrubs episode :D

  • Loving that fact that its a Christian song!

  • why?

  • love it =D

  • pretty song used at the perfect part of a great show!!!

  • When Elliot sees Carla and slaps Keith, I almost lost it. That was the funniest thing I ever saw!! LMAO!!!! It's nice to see Bill Lawrence using religious music in the show as well. It says a lot.

  • When they are all huging it just shows when something really important happens, all the characters really care for each other despite the face they usually put on.

  • I was so surprised when this song was on there. I was like "hey, I know that song!"

  • This is such a beautiful scene, i've seen it 50 times, it still gives me chills.

    Scrubs is the best!

  • btw who's that blonde girl JD's hugging at the very end?

  • Elliot's bestfriend from high school

  • No, you can only see Elliot's best friend from Highschool in the two episodes where Keith asks Elliot to marry him.

    Sorry for my bad english.

  • my bad... i didnt look close enough... heheh

  • guys, melody is her best friend from college, Not highschool! piwi got it right except for that part

  • how do u know all this O.o?

  • i love the way JD and Turk react when she's standing in the bar and she anounces she's pregnant and they're standing behind her..JD's little smile is so sweet

i nearly cried when i saw this...it's even better cus she was actually pregnant, and thats probs how they would have reacted

  • i love it when keith goes to shake carla's hand,n she slaps it away and hugs him.

  • Scrubs rules!

  • I love the use of the song and the moment where you think that Carla will be angry with Turk about the news but she doesn't care because she's pregnant.

  • This scene makes me cry - great song too!

  • I just saw this episode on tv and recognized Kutless. Some may have objections to using this song in a show like Scrubs(which can be rather raunchy!). However, as a Christian, in putting this song in the context of the scene, it's like they are praising God for the gift of a child in their lives because they tried for so long. There's actually several people in the Bible who were given children when they never thought they could have any

  • I hope 7's finale has a nice ending like this

  • great song, great episode, one of the best. i love it

  • brilliant episode (: one of my favourites for sure. loved it when eliott slapped keith :D
