Had Montenegro not got that last minute goal then Switzerland would have gone through to the play offs. I missed the match but based on this, Montenegro looked the better side in the second half. All credit to them for doing so well and I hope they qualify.
There are some particularly strong teams - Germany, Holland, Spain ... hopefully England will avoid meeting them in the group stages and might get through to the last eight.

Professional soccer players are the biggest wimps. I stopped watching soccer a few years ago because I couldn't take the complaining. People get kicked, it happens; I'd know, I played soccer for a long time. Ok Rooney was wrong, but that guy blew it way out of proportion. Professional soccer players are the biggest wimps. I stopped watching soccer a few years ago because I couldn't take the complaining. People get kicked, it happens; I'd know, I played soccer for a long time. Ok Rooney was wrong, but that guy blew it way out of proportion. Technically he was still playing the ball, but maybe got caught in the moment. Pretty soon soccer players will start wearing pads and helmets

Look at the players reaction, how slow is it? Players these days go down too easily. A three match ban is very, very harsh considering challenges in the past have gone unnoticed. Look at John Terry's tackle on James Milner in the FA cup semi final Aston Villa vs Chelsea.
