Yes, I also think the frame (you have mentioned) is well illustrates sadness in mortality. I like this song very much too. So sentimental and nostalgic! Thank you very much for your comment. Yasue.
Music and painting are much the same. Harmony of sound and color... The one at 1:11 is stunning.... Its captures the human state of loneliness...the saddest thing in the world.. to be alone in a world full of people. The old lady holds a candle precarious in the wind to keep her happy memory alive.
The loneliness in the crowd always leads me a song People Are Strange by the doors. I seem to echo with special sense (feel of un-coordination?) in it. This is more to sadness in mortality for all living (or even feeling and sprit) existence. It is even more so when we are getting older. I think it is illustrated the frame you have mentioned. Thank you for noticing it. Yasue.
Such a gorgeous arrangement of delightful images, such fabulous colors. Many appear sad, but sadness and beauty are a part of living. Love the music you have chosen, too, compliments so wondrously
Yes, I love this song. Normally I look for music for my artworks, but this is the one I have arranged my artworks for the music. The memory comes with such sweet sentiment. It is even more so as we get older. Thank you very much for compliment. Yasue.
Your work is very consistent, Yasue -- consistently beautiful and sad. It is flowing over with emotion and people longing for something better... or reflecting on the Now. I love the image of the father and daughter arriving at the house with the mother (?) looking down on them. Is she dead?
I dont know if it is to wish something better. Those are memories, memories which never to return. I think it boils down to sorrow toward mortal existence. I am sure, I , you and everybody else is heading to the future (what is future, death?) with layers of such memories.
The painting you have mentioned is the most recent one. It was actually custom made for the specific poem. I will send you a copy for a view. Hope you are doing well.
Really? Well, it is not directly related to the autumn, but I am from Japan, and Japanese cultural influence is quite strong on my artworks. Thank you very much for viewing and encouraging words. Yasue.
I saw that you reposted this. I will try to recollect what I wrote in the first posting. The second viewing was even more enjoyable and meaningful.
Isn't it a beautiful testament how there is always a season in the year for the longing. Your artwork with this beautiful and classic rendition by Nat King Cole's vocals combine to a most magnificent presentation. It is always a joy to view your work no matter how difficult the subject matter may be. Thank you for sharing your talents. Scott
I am sorry for an inconvenience. Your comments always spoil me, my sweet friend. It is good for my confidence builder, I think. I normally look for a song or music to go my artworks, but sometimes, I am not quite sure if I am trying to put my artworks together for the specific music. This music is one of those. Thank you and have a great day! Yasue.

I noticed numerous appearances of a carp (or some kind of Japanese fish) in your drawings. Does it have any special significance to autumn?
Great works of art as always!
