@SIPLcy Well, they're marketing it towards an American audience, and America was a rival of the Soviet Union practically during its entire reign.

Besides, the Soviets were legitimate villains. Just read up on Stalin's involvement in the Spanish Civil War. And though the Soviet regime has fallen, people's distrust of Russians will take a while to die away.

If you want to play a game where you're a Soviet, try Red Alert. It has a nice, campy feel to it.

To clear things up, Price was unconcious at the end of the game but Soap was pulled to safety. In MW2, Soap takes Prices position and gun but they find out that he is Prisoner 627 and the Russian government put people in The Gulug because "they don't want them but they can't kill them".

1 of the things they did wrong was leaving the Russians use AK-4.... they dont use that old gun, they use the new models..... spcially AK-104 and the AN-94...... and the AK108 already exists... they should have putted those guns there as well.
