Mage Macro Making, and basic rotation

FOR ALL YOU BADDIES WHO WANT TO KNOW NOW READ THIS:

Roll Arcane.

Place arcane blast on every single space in all of your action bars.

Place head on keyboard.

Roll.

In 346 gear you should be able to break 180k dps.

#showtooltip with the question mark icon will make your spell macro the default spell icon, instead of looking for it in the huge pile of icons

one question, i'm trying to macro /cast Frost Armor and directly under it i'm also doing /cast Mana Shield (done exactly how you have) and i for some reason only cast frost armor, mana shield doesn't show up

i did a macro with my lock i put

/cast immolate

/cast corruption

/casr shadow bolt

it dosent work it only does immolate

@jpeh1308 you need a /cast sequence immolate, corruption, shadow bolt. Since every spell after immolate is on global cooldown , what your prompting the lines to do is to cast all those spells at once.

hehe i used a macro like this in wrath but icy veins cant be use with arcane power any more both are to far down in the talent tree

I made my very first macro using this...it's great! I've been playing arc mage for years and I thought my dps was great, but using this macro, I'm pushing 7k.
