@SuperGoddamnbatman ...great comment, how about this one "an opinion and 3 bucks will get you a cheeseburger and so will 3 bucks"!! have a nice day :)
@kiaynsa It's slow motion so you can see the technique. None martial art begins showing the things fast, it's about learning the technique first, the strength and speed comes later, my fellow keyboard warrior. i suggest to you to learn a martial art before talking shit
Please respect Grand Masters, they can just kill you with one blow ( punch or kick), even a Master can do that too...those naive and non marial artist just be shut your big mouths, your mouth is your biggest enemy.
I've been on the receiving end of this, it hurts like hell. You'll never see this in a ring and with good reason, it's made to take down people in a way that would never be allowed in the ring.
@blockmasterscott That's what I will always respect about true martial arts. Designed to disable your attacker completely and efficiently. Not designed to go rounds or to win. Simply to defend oneself. Problem is full contact sparring is almost impossible without serious injury. Great comment sir.
not at all true full contact sparring is done regularly in many systems, in the case of kyokushin karate no pads are even worn and serious injury is quite uncommon almost a non-occurance.
@majaimay and this is all while stupid fighters doesn't even know how to make a proper fist to protect their wrist from bending while punching, if it weren't for the wrist wraps which they require.
Ever had the tendons or muscles on your arm grabbed like that? Hurts like hell and you could easily have them torn or severely injured. This is no joke.
for the fucktards that say "well why isnt this krane master on the fuckin UFC?" here is the ,answer, those methods of fighting are for real life crippling your opponent and not for the ring , in reality a guy who trained in clawing kung fu can tear your muscles easily and even tear out your limbs, i know a boxing trainer that lost his arm like that by fighting some tiger style master long time ago,UFC is sport but this shit was developed by ancient people to defend the village and kill the enemy
Baah. I can do this in my sleep. Im also 2,3, no 4 times faster than Bruce Lee, Stronger than 3x Jackie Chan, 2x Smoother, 5x more agile than Tony Jaa. I won every martial arts tournament in America, Briten, China, Japan, and South Korea. Chuck Norris comes by to get Martial arts lessons from me.
Strange, but it seems like at 0:57 the student is preparing to send another punch but doesn't deliver it at all while the instructor is spending time grabbing his bicep. I can't help but think that punch could be a devestating blow to his rib cages if he fired it off.
In all the earlier demos, the student leave his hand at his side limp, 'pretending' to be a .... person who doesn't know what he's doing in a fight? All fighting techniques work great against untrained people but trained?
@Burchnall87 you should really take some classes. you dont learn REAL combat skills from nobody, it takes a master whos been there to know whats effective. Just try your own stuff and then real world test it, lemme know how that goes, please
@cojo1801 I've taken classes before in Jeet Kune Do, Wing Chun, Judo and TKD. Honestly, most real-world-ish practice I've gotten came from sparring in Judo, TKD and Jeet Kune Do. Wing Chun was always mostly drills/speed practice. I never seem to get into fights in real life outside a dojo mostly because I'm a fairly nice person and avoid areas were fights breakout. IE, Not a bar-hopper/clubber/hanging out in low-end neighbourhoods.
@cojo1801 Anyways, my point being is that the fastest boxers in the world can throw a jab in 1/16th of a second. It becomes extremely hard to do 'wrist grabs' // 'bicep pinching' in 1/16th of a second. You'll be lucky if you react to the punch you see coming unless you've trained/ingrained automatonic reflexes from years of practicing the same moves over and over again. Even then, your best bet is doing a short movement like a wing chun wrist redirect than a three-step movement.
@cojo1801 An untrained fighter or fighters trained in Karate will often telegraph they are about to punch and try to punch with 'power' making it easier to see the punch coming and do a combo like this. Against a trained fighter or fighting style based on speed, I'm not sure about this fighting styles effectiveness. I'm a firm believer in Bruce Lee's take what works well approach from any given style and abandon the rest of it if its inefficient. The way of no-way.
@varanid9 Yes, among other things. He was fairly famous for getting in trouble being one of the first asians to teach wing-chun/kung-fu/chinese martial arts to non-asians. Traditionally, martial arts was seen as being a chinese sport for chinese people and chinese self-defense. Why give your 'enemy' knowledge of your fighting techniques/method was the old-style of thinking?
Later in Bruce Lee's life though after he became a multi-millonaire via movies, he put out an open challenge.
@varanid9 Basically, a $100,000.00 price or equivilent of that in today's money if anyone could beat him one-on-one in an organized, witnessed fight. So lots of black belts from various styles challenged him hoping for the prize and Bruce Lee when undefeated with something like 160+ to 0 wins. So, yes, he's a movie start // film fighter but also an accomplished sparrer in freestyle // mixed martial arts with still one of the most impressive records ever. He also did a lot of
@varanid9 training, teaching and demostrations proving his speed/skill/strength at is famous for being one of the most physically fit martial artists of all time. If you look at some of his later photos, he was insanely ripped with about a 2-3% body fat and basically 190 pounds of pure muscle at a low height back before steriods/modern day bodybuilding chemicals.
I tried pasting some urls but they don't seem to work in youtube comments. Just google image search bruce lee ripped
This is a pretty good video of him fairly early in his career showing his speed he was able to obtain. At some points, he moves so fast the camera catches him in the relaxed pose and 1/24th of a second later when it shots its next frame, he's already fulled extended/made contact. Even a jab at 1/24th of a second is a pretty fast jab, let alone a full kick.
@varanid9 ?feature=fvwp&NR=1&v=RD-R4fYwiT0 is a fairly good example video too. If you fast-forward to 2:00 they show some of the re-mastered color footage from History Channel HD in a common demostration he did where he gave some blackbelts at the 1967 karate championships the opportunity to try and block his punch. This guy tries like 5 times in a row and can't block one punch. A world-top karate competitor would have been knocked out cold with any one of those punches power/speed.
@varanid9 For what its worth, Bruce Lee in his book had some great quotes/philosophy about training for fitness, sports or martial arts. Like for example: "I don't fear the man who can execute one thousand different kicks; the one to fear is the man who practiced 1 kick, one thousand times." The meaning of the quote is pretty obvious. I'd personally agree with this. That's why we choose go to surgeons than family doctors for surgery and neuro-surgeons over general surgeons for brain surgery.
@cojo1801 Out of curiousity, what made you presume I had taken no classes and had no combat skills? Its an interesting presumption. Do you think that most people who watch fighting videos have never taken classes? I'd make the opposite assumption that if your looking up techniques/learning about fighting, you've probably taken at least a class before or been in a fight. Its almost akin to assuming someone looking up Calculus videos online isn't enrolled in a Calculus class or done math
@tommie15422 your not understanding the physics and kinetics of what he is doing. there are nerve endings in which you apply pressure too. you dont even need grab or squeeze many you just need to strike. do me a favor ass hole. make a fist as if you where going to punch somebody. now bunch yourself with your other hand in the center of your forearm palm side. now do that a few times while trying to keep a balled up fist. with little pressure making a fist is hard. now punch hard...
pressure points are meant to heal in accupuncture not to use them as a way to manipulate the flow of energy or to knock out someone never the less cause death
After two decades of karate, I can say with certainty that it is possible to catch a skilled punch with such a technique. Also, I have been dabbling in Filipino Martial Arts for four years now, and to me this technique is like the destruction techniques in Panantukan (Filipino dirty boxing). For you MMA fans, notice that old Euro-boxers kept their guard hands far out for fast blocks and hits; modern boxers don't. US troops in the Phillipines adapted after losing to moves like these -they hurt!
Impresive, I've never seen a demonstration in real speed though, still wonder if they can rly catch a punch, i real punch I mean, against a skilled fighter, because vs a drunk turd every sport is effective, even skiing will do the trick u know :D Wanna see these fansy moves in real speed for once , and i will have seen everything.
@immortaliserwow /user/EnsoAikido#p/u/7/ef0_-IgztX8 i just found that channel the guy is pretty legit.
nice form not super fast watch?v=9TajusIENTs
watch?v=iBTM6_l-Gdk this is just pure speed
idk it can be done. its saved my life. i know you cant take a youtube comment to heart. look up krav maga. thats a more practical use of self defense. keep in mind, SELF DEFENSE. defensive martial arts are not in sport as much because they lack attack.
@dbspaceoditty tnx, dude, but I am not looking for a self defense or smth, i am into boxing and i like it, but I also thing that the kung fu has a hell lot to show and needs to be taken more seriously and all these vidios of the sort "you slow motion punch and i catch your arm and break it" dont do any good to the art
@immortaliserwow the thing is you dont need to grab. ball up a fist in one hand as hard as if you where going to punch somebody. take your other hand and punch the inside of your forearm a few times. you will notice with very little pressure its hard to keep that fist balled up. now imagine the force of someboy punching you WHILE you swing a hook into there jab. there will be a good few seconds at least that he wont be able to hurt you with that hand.
@immortaliserwow boxing is not even comparable to anything related to martial arts. and if you watch closely you can clearly see that hes not trying to break his arm. hes actually grabbing the point where the muscles in the arm separate. this causes extreme pain and limits the effects of any kind of counter attack. i respect boxing but truth be told its a dying sport.
@dresen10 Just because you watch UFC, doesn't make you an expert in the world of Martial Arts. I suggest you should abandon the art of Keyboard warrior, and go learn a true art.
@dresen10 Ha... that's cute. You think you know anything about fighting because you watch UFC. Silly boy. This is master Lee Joo-Chian, he would destroy any of those pussies in the UFC and so would any of his well trained pupils.
@Unitor677 This is a demonstration. Why, oh why, does there have to be 5 or more un-intellegent no logic people in every martial art demonstration videos?
@bdynamyte You absolute moron. If somebody chooses to use this in a fight, they aren't just gonna grab their arm and stop. They would follow it up with another move/technique, i.e. a throw. If you want my opinion, I suggest you should fuck off, yes?
@MrFenixRage Yer, I can imagine. And I sure wouldn't want to get into a fight with someone who is mint as kung fu. I see what you're saying and I respect your opinion. Plus, i'm not fussed over bad english or grammer. :)
you are using both arms to catch and hold an attackers one arm. you are leaving your face completely exposed to the attackers additional hand. a well trained fighter would seize this opportunity and punish you for it.
@bdynamyte and notice how it is a 1 move demonstration? Are you retarded? stfu. You dont know shit about fighting, youre just some small-dicked child that doesnt get enough attention, so he has to come on youtube and act like the internet tough guy. just stop commenting. You're an idiot.
@bdynamyte I've seen this true master perform such moves and more, at full speed, and I personally felt his pressure points strikes:believe me, though it is true that it is normally foolish to grab with two hands, this is not the case here. You would be left badly crippled, no matter how religious your muay thai is.Your insolence discredit you and show your lack of martial arts knowledge. This debate is not one to be sorted out between black belts, this man is on a whole other level.
This stuff working for real (not in demonstration where the speed is slowed down) is like a ghost. Everyone has a cousin who has a friend who saw it happen once or something... But no one themselves ever seems to have seen it, and no one can ever catch it on video.
@BattleFitReno Walk up to that kung fu Crane Master man and slug him in the ribs, see if he does any of that tendon ripping stuff to you. Then you can sleep better. ;-)
by the way, im not saying those types of holds wont rip tendons and all that- i'm saying that pulling it off while someone throws a flurry of punches at you in a bar fight is akin to seeing a ghost.
see, this only works in SLOW demos. u tell me if a guy throws hard, fast punches at your face u will b able to do that. just watch any "kung fu master vs..." videos, and see these guys get ko'd in 2 secs.
I have seen Karate guys fight using their style and I have seen boxers with six months of training destroy individuals, but I have yet to see Kun fu effectivly used at full speedagainst an active opponent intent on doing them real harm. Now I know there are a lot of keyboard warriors who will say "If you want to see that stop by my Kwoon or see my master..yada yada". But put the false machismo aside for a moment and give me a real answer or direct me to some footage. Thanks.
@miracleboy1 Meet me, all you gotta do is strike, or my sifu, I would prefer you try to strike me as a student to show that knowledge can be passed and still be effective in todays world. The ability, rests with the person, if you train but let fear control your mind then you will lose no matter how much you train, but if you're a fighter in spirit then a practical system will help you do more damage than no training at all. Most schools teach crap cuz most people dont wann train hard
@miracleboy1 most schools teach fancy movement & not practical application, mma works because u MUST train hard & practice applications, in boxing u MUST train hard, well u MUST train hard 4 any system to work, its up 2 the person on what system they like enough to train hard in and b serious about it. Im in phx az if u would like 2 test ur theory but I wont pay ur medical bills, thats on u. We train in iron hand/iron fingers/iron body. My defense is offense and my offense is mean & direct
The only ones that I have seen on youtube that I would trust in a fight is a Bagua fighter in NY named Black Taoist and Hue Cambreland of Tiger Style kung fu. Both of these men would beat your ass whether or not they knew kung fu any way, they are fighters by nature. I am not saying that Kung fu sucks, I would love to see some real fighting that looked like the things that they practice. If your experience is different please direct me where I can go to see it.
I know it takes years to become a master but very few masters have really shown fighting prowess except against other kung fu guys. When I watch the old UFC when actual styles were being showcased you never saw "the Ape steals the peach" technique or the "crane swallows the snake technique". The kung fu artist that I have seen usually either can't fight or revert back to punching and takckling in a real fight.
No disrespect to kung fu practitioners but many if not most kung fu techniques don't work in a real situation. Most videos show the master performing a fluid technique and the students cooperating. I never see these techniques "showing up" in a real fight at full speed. For example in the fight on youtube between a White crane master vs. a Tai Chi master these old chinese masters looked like they were 2 girls slap fighting. Emin Boztep vs. William Chung looked like slap fighting and hair pulling
I SAW THIS VIDEO AND THOUGHT I WAS SUPERMAN - SO I WENT TO A CLUB TO DANCE AND A GUY CAME TO HIT ON MY GIRL - I POLITY ASKED HIM TO BACK OFF - SHE GOT UP AND KICKED HIM IN THE SHIN - LUCKY FOR HIM I DIDN"T USE MY SUPERMAN SKILLS OR HE WOULD BE DEAD
the technique is really good. When he is serious the speed will probably jump up to a huge speed. I've seen these masters perform techniques before and it is a never ending motion.
@laossantarosa Every attack has a weak spot. Do know that every technique is used for specific kind of attack. If he sees you trying to do something like that, be sure he won't even attempt doing this technique. He will do a better suiting one, or just a variation of that one.
Yes it is very possible to catch #streetfighters# in moves such as this, I`ve done it. Been in the martial arts world for a little over 10 years. Thos whole key to pulling move like this is anticipating their moves before they strike. As for boxing, all it is is stamina and brut strength. A real student to the arts will have no problem breaking a boxer down. So please people, know what your talking about before you opend your mouths about things that aren`nt movie scripted.
@6lockPapi82 you know nothing about boxing if you think it is all about "stamina and brute strength". Please don't make such uninformed statements.
Regardless, Strength is OBVIOUSLY an advantage over weakness. So what is this 'strength' is BS argument? Stamina is obviously useful; if you're out of breath you can't do anything. Why are these two negative qualities for a martial artist to have??
@6lockPapi82 I attend a muay thai and Brazilian jiu jitsu gym religiously. My name is Benjamin Louchios. look me up on facebook if you don't believe me. this technique being shown by this instructor is ineffective to the point that I feel it necessary to educate you on it. it is foolish to use both hands to stop one strike and completely expose oneself to the additional six possible striking points of said attacker (Hand, elbow, knees, and legs). this instructor is, in hence, a joke.
@bdynamyte You know, that's traditional kung fu.And traditionally, we RIP the grabbed muscles.NOW, tell me how are you going to HIT us when your crying on the ground with an incapacitated arm???????
@cheedraco Adrenaline kicks in, followed with endorphin... you wont feel the pain. But for the next 1-2 seconds, you get confused and that's when you get more dangerous hits.
@bdynamyte Sir, this "instructor" is grand-master Lee Joo-Chian, son of grand-master Lee Kiang-Ke. You won't find them on facebook (unlike you) but it doesn't make them less dangerous. He has trained for almost 50 years under the best "instructor" you could find. I had the privilege to train under his guidance for a few months and I can assure you that his speed, his precision and his technique is unmatchable.

US troops in the Phillipines adapted after losing to moves like these -they hurt!

nice form not super fast watch?v=9TajusIENTs
watch?v=iBTM6_l-Gdk this is just pure speed
idk it can be done. its saved my life. i know you cant take a youtube comment to heart. look up krav maga. thats a more practical use of self defense. keep in mind, SELF DEFENSE. defensive martial arts are not in sport as much because they lack attack.
dbspaceoditty 1 month ago
@dbspaceoditty tnx, dude, but I am not looking for a self defense or smth, i am into boxing and i like it, but I also thing that the kung fu has a hell lot to show and needs to be taken more seriously and all these vidios of the sort "you slow motion punch and i catch your arm and break it" dont do any good to the art
immortaliserwow 1 month ago
@immortaliserwow the thing is you dont need to grab. ball up a fist in one hand as hard as if you where going to punch somebody. take your other hand and punch the inside of your forearm a few times. you will notice with very little pressure its hard to keep that fist balled up. now imagine the force of someboy punching you WHILE you swing a hook into there jab. there will be a good few seconds at least that he wont be able to hurt you with that hand.
dbspaceoditty 4 weeks ago
@immortaliserwow boxing is not even comparable to anything related to martial arts. and if you watch closely you can clearly see that hes not trying to break his arm. hes actually grabbing the point where the muscles in the arm separate. this causes extreme pain and limits the effects of any kind of counter attack. i respect boxing but truth be told its a dying sport.
CsRemix24 4 weeks ago 2
haha do this to an UFC fighter and he will break your arm with his fist.

@bdynamyte You absolute moron. If somebody chooses to use this in a fight, they aren't just gonna grab their arm and stop. They would follow it up with another move/technique, i.e. a throw. If you want my opinion, I suggest you should fuck off, yes?

@EndangeredMarmalade Man, this is kung fu, i do it, every single move is more fatal as far as you can imagine.
The Eagles claws can rip off your skin
The Dragon claws can break you maxilar easily
The Snake fist can simply make you blind
and all this is only some of the powers that kung fu gives to anyone, kung fu is not just hitting your enemy like your ass is in fire!
Sorry for my bad english, and this is only my opinion about it.

Thanks.
miracleboy1 2 months ago
@miracleboy1 Meet me, all you gotta do is strike, or my sifu, I would prefer you try to strike me as a student to show that knowledge can be passed and still be effective in todays world. The ability, rests with the person, if you train but let fear control your mind then you will lose no matter how much you train, but if you're a fighter in spirit then a practical system will help you do more damage than no training at all. Most schools teach crap cuz most people dont wann train hard
jaydaz27 1 month ago
@miracleboy1 most schools teach fancy movement & not practical application, mma works because u MUST train hard & practice applications, in boxing u MUST train hard, well u MUST train hard 4 any system to work, its up 2 the person on what system they like enough to train hard in and b serious about it. Im in phx az if u would like 2 test ur theory but I wont pay ur medical bills, thats on u. We train in iron hand/iron fingers/iron body. My defense is offense and my offense is mean & direct
jaydaz27 1 month ago
The only ones that I have seen on youtube that I would trust in a fight is a Bagua fighter in NY named Black Taoist and Hue Cambreland of Tiger Style kung fu. Both of these men would beat your ass whether or not they knew kung fu any way, they are fighters by nature. I am not saying that Kung fu sucks, I would love to see some real fighting that looked like the things that they practice. If your experience is different please direct me where I can go to see it.
miracleboy1 2 months ago
I know it takes years to become a master but very few masters have really shown fighting prowess except against other kung fu guys. When I watch the old UFC when actual styles were being showcased you never saw "the Ape steals the peach" technique or the "crane swallows the snake technique". The kung fu artist that I have seen usually either can't fight or revert back to punching and takckling in a real fight.
miracleboy1 2 months ago
No disrespect to kung fu practitioners but many if not most kung fu techniques don't work in a real situation. Most videos show the master performing a fluid technique and the students cooperating. I never see these techniques "showing up" in a real fight at full speed. For example in the fight on youtube between a White crane master vs. a Tai Chi master these old chinese masters looked like they were 2 girls slap fighting. Emin Boztep vs. William Chung looked like slap fighting and hair pulling

6lockPapi82 3 months ago 15
@6lockPapi82 you know nothing about boxing if you think it is all about "stamina and brute strength". Please don't make such uninformed statements.
Regardless, Strength is OBVIOUSLY an advantage over weakness. So what is this 'strength' is BS argument? Stamina is obviously useful; if you're out of breath you can't do anything. Why are these two negative qualities for a martial artist to have??

PsychoReaper49 2 months ago
@6lockPapi82 I attend a muay thai and Brazilian jiu jitsu gym religiously. My name is Benjamin Louchios. look me up on facebook if you don't believe me. this technique being shown by this instructor is ineffective to the point that I feel it necessary to educate you on it. it is foolish to use both hands to stop one strike and completely expose oneself to the additional six possible striking points of said attacker (Hand, elbow, knees, and legs). this instructor is, in hence, a joke.
bdynamyte 2 months ago
@bdynamyte
You my good sir is quite dumb.
What he is doing is attacking while blocking the attack.
The fingers grab hard and quick into the bicep muscle, tearing it and leaving that arm incapacitated.
ShadesOfGray102 2 months ago 4
@ShadesOfGray102 First close up was the Brachioradialis.
Second one was the Pronator Teres.
Third&Fourth were the Biceps.
But yeah, traditionally, you would've practiced to rip those muscles.(Not on a live sparring partner, of course.)
I'm sure this teacher who's regarded as a grandmaster would know.
ChibiZone 2 weeks ago 2
@bdynamyte You know, that's traditional kung fu.And traditionally, we RIP the grabbed muscles.NOW, tell me how are you going to HIT us when your crying on the ground with an incapacitated arm???????
cheedraco 2 months ago 5
@cheedraco Adrenaline kicks in, followed with endorphin... you wont feel the pain. But for the next 1-2 seconds, you get confused and that's when you get more dangerous hits.
aegisknox 2 weeks ago
@bdynamyte Sir, this "instructor" is grand-master Lee Joo-Chian, son of grand-master Lee Kiang-Ke. You won't find them on facebook (unlike you) but it doesn't make them less dangerous. He has trained for almost 50 years under the best "instructor" you could find. I had the privilege to train under his guidance for a few months and I can assure you that his speed, his precision and his technique is unmatchable.
