i'm british and damn proud of it. Tea is part of our culture. some people in england do actually talk like that, and a lot of people in england drink tea. i'm not going to get offended by someone badly mimicking an accent that i don't even use.

I may be talking over your head. (The "Duh!" gives that away). Only UK would play such a racist advert. It wouldn't be aired in the states. Trident is based in the states. The agency that shot this commercial and aired it is based in the UK. I think i've just confused you more....

This is the most irritating advert I have seen in years. It's a very poor attempt at a viral campaign. Ad agency should be ashamed - can you imagine the competing pitches for this to have been chosen? And I won't be buying Trident.

Trident is a brand that has existed in the states and globally for years; whoever thinks there is any link with Operation Trident in the UK is just uneducated and needs to travel a bit. think it's a great ad personally. When an English man speaks in the Queens English in ads globally people don't think it's racist so why is this any differnet? Granted not all Jaimaican's sound like this guy; but i def don't sound like i speak the Queens English. Hilarious Ad trident. well done.
