@bobo225884 The big difference being that Kramer isn't funny at all (in the line of Sinefeld) and Jeff (and coupling) is hilarious!

Best show ever made and Jeff is indead irreplaceble. He was such a huge attribution to the show. The interaction between Jeff and Steve made the show from a great show into the greatest show!

@bobo225884 There is of course no use in arguing over taste. I have seen quite a lot of Sinefeld and it never ever made me laugh. Just had to get through it to see the shows I wanted after Sinefeld. In my opinion Kramer was the worst caracter of the show, even George was better.

I have seen every episode of Coupling at least 5 times now and it still makes me laugh, even though I now them by heart. Jeff is brilliant and in my opinion Coupling is the best comedy show.

Brilliant character, brilliant actor! Unfortunately Richard Coyle didn't want to pick up the role after season 3 and the show just wasn't the same. But the man who created this show is now the head writer for Doctor Who! Steven Moffat ROCKS!!!

Not his fault, I think. The actor who plays Jeff is so singular, trying to replace him is doomed to fail. It could have gone far worse. (Just look at the US version, my apologies to the actors involved.)
