Hey RcktVdeoGuy, the reason shoot em up "Sucked" was because the director was tired of all the cliche's you see in movies nowadays. So he took every cliche in the book and multiplied it by 100. Which made the movie funny not horrible.

Having never read the comic I cannot compare the movie to it. However if you want to leave your brain at the cinema door and simply go on an action ride then it's a ok movie....not great but ok. Action wise it's as unbelievable action wise as say the Die Hard movies (now they really are mindless esp number 4 and yet you get hooked by them.....same can be said for this) 7/10.

I came in watching this movie and hoping for it to fail. The trailer makes it look ridiculous but in a retarded way.

In fact, its the closest thing to the first Matrix. Its a movie that is not about heroes. Its about being fucking bad and loving it.

And Morgan Freeman is fucking boss in this movie. I assume is going to be a sleeper hit. Maybe reach "THE 300" notoriety.

It made a ton of money for a R-rated movie, 3rd best opening since Matrix Reloaded and 300, apparently.

Best action movie of the summer so far, no doubt. The action alone is just, great thrill ride, no letting up. The story about Loon of Fate made no sense, but the big plot twist with the dad was great, now I need to watch it again to catch it all. If they had just explained the Loom of Fate more, but maybe in the sequel (it's planned to be a trilogy).

The movie was good, but some of the action was a bit over the top retarded. Most of it was cool, even if it was unrealistic. I had to catch a later showing of it because the one I tried to go to was sold out. When I went to see it, there was line looped around 45 minutes or more before the movie started.

I do have to say, I loved the ending line. That was great. :)

It's like that one guy said, If you like crazy gun graphics and awesome action, go see it. If you like to follow the story and really understand the movie...well....you'll be left wanting. The script was the most assbackwards plot since Shoot em Up. At the end I was so confused, I had to sit there for a minute to digest the retardedness of the whole thing. Granted, the action was bad ass, but I like a little more consistency with my movies.
