  • These are real people! GITTER DONE, South Carolina!!!!!

    Thanks for the vid!

  • Its an awesome town. We need to get Obama out of the White House!

  • Questionair- i agree w/ wat ther sayn but wats so bad about obama?! and i heard this was a VERY raciest town and obviously it is. this looks lke an awesome town and i would lke 2 go ther cause my friend ryan goes ther, but wats so wrong about obama?!

  • So people want the same government that is responsible for the education of "babiegurl484" to be in charge of brain surgery.

  • ha ok. lol

  • o and i hav this friend named ryan that goes ther and hes lke 14 and he has red hair. do u thnk u mite no him?! prob not but jw......

  • @babiegurl484

Obama seems like a great guy but his policies are what I don't agree with.

He said during the campaign, if we want to know where he stands on things, look at the people he surrounds himself with.

He has put Wall Street big boys on his cabinet, and surrounds himself with far far far far left socialist or communist (yes, I said communist) advisors, or even people who believe in eugenics (yes I said eugenics).

  • @babiegurl484 I've been living here all my life! Protestors are embarrassing it! and making us look like a bunch of ignorant racist dumbasses. We are not racist, Greenville is full of loving, kind, caring people that i call my neighbors. Nothing is wrong with Obama. People just give him bullshit for stuff thats not his fault. Unlike Bush, Barack is actually trying to help this country. You may not agree with the way he is doing it, but at least the man is trying in the way he sees fit.

  • PS- rippin...

is it not strange that the nearly all of states that obama did not carry are the slave states?

and the states with the lowest-level of education and income?

    hmmmm

  • If you support Obama, you support slavery.

    What is slavery?

Working for someone against your will.

90% of Obama's agenda is taking money through threat of violence and incarceration, and giving it to people that did not earn it.

Since money has no intrinsic value, and is merely a representation of labor, taking money is the same as taking labor.

  • well- under that scnerio you don't support the USA as it currently pooerates

The citizens decided many years ago that the way to finance most of what we do (like bush's war of lies) would be paid for by an income tax.

but it isn't slavery- take a tour of some of the slave plantations in your racist state before saying something like that.

i personally think a tax on consumption like cap and trade, is a better approach.

tax spending- not income- that is exactly what Obama wants to do.

  • So it isn't slavery unless it's plantation slavery.

    Got it.

  • i just dont think we can throw that word around without understanding ewhat we did to those guys.

    look-up 'slave-ships'

or read a bit about living conditions for field workers in SC in the early 1800's

    IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE

  • So slavery in more moderate conditions is OK.

    Got it.

Personally, I prefer no slavery at all. That's why I've been voting libertarian and Constitution party for over 10 years.

  • I'm just suggesting we find a better word. Its like all of the sudden everyone is a 'victim'. when all that happened to them is they didn't what they ordered for dinner.

ps- i voted bob barr for pres.

  • I'm not going to wait until the jack boots are on my throat before I speak up. If I do, then I get what I deserve.

Our current government is far more tyrannical than the government we declared our independence from in 1776.

We should have had tea parties when Bush was president.

  • whats really sad about this in addition to the racism-

we have spent 1 trillion dollars for Bush's war of lies.

The long-term costs, including the interest we are paying COMMUNIST CHINA and the care we will be providing for our wounded troops, the widows & equipment replacement will approach 3 to 3.5 trillion.

just a guess, but i bet everyone at the rally supported the war of lies- but, surprise!

THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR IT.

how are we going to pay for the BUSH DEBT?

  • You would lose that bet.

Now quit obsessing over George Bush. He's gone. You have to move on with your life. You have to find other people to falsely accuse of racism.

  • yes buysh is gone, but he and the GOP cangress left a stinking pile of debt and a war of lies that ibama has to vclean up.

typical racists republicans make a mess, then exp[ect a b;ack man to clean up after them

still got that RACIST FLAG flying over your capitol?

seems to me you guys should be more worried about your

ADULTRY-LOV ING, HYPOCRIT LIAR OF A GOVERNOR THAN COMPLAINING THAT WE HAVE A HARD-WORKING SMART GUY IN CHARGE IN DC.

  • Just to verify:

You think debt, lying, racism and adultery are bad.

You must not be a democrat, then.

  • one more time

THE GREATEST EXPANSION IN THE SIZE OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SINCE FDR and

THE GREATEST EXPANSION OF THE FEDERAL DEBT AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE WAR, since WWII happened when the GOP owned Washington.

it has nothing to do with party- it has to do with responsibility, and obviusly the GOP doesn't seem to believe in that?

    II

  • And as horrible as Bush and the GOP were, Obama is spending even more.

  • NOT ONE BLACKOR LATINO IN SIGHT.

    GOP=KKK

    racists republicans hate america

  • Yep.

The party founded to end slavery is the racist party.

    That's brilliant.

The skin heads were there in force to keep away all the blacks that wanted to stand up for their liberty.

Can't get anything past this guy.

  • You were obviously not there, but I was, there were blacks at this event, and yes, they are conservatives.

The vast majority of Latinos in this part of the country can neither speak or understand english, why would they show up?

  • good work 5 stars xx

  • Attorney Tom Cryer from Shreveport Louisiana explains that there IS NO LAW making the average working American citizen "liable" for an income tax on his or her earnings. Watch his video, which can be found, listed under my name almartin77.

  • I bet my 401K that every single person at that rally voted TWICE for George Walker Bush.

So, if they are worried about the economy it's just their scrawny chickens come home to roost. Maybe they should have been protesting George's policies and protesting the war for teh past seven years, and just maybe our country wouldn't be in the latrine.

  • I voted 3rd party both times, and I know many others there that did the same.

Cash out your 401K and send it to my PayPal account.

  • Sorry, already sent it to the Republican National Committee.

  • I'll take that bet. And raise you my pay check.

  • Wrong. Libertarian here.

  • We must have more Tea Parties ! Everyone in Congress must go ! We must have fair Tax ! We must address Corruption now ! !

  • the income tax is horrible, but don't be so quick to endorse the fair tax. it doesn't address the real problem: that government is too big to fund. AND THE FAIR TAX IS STILL A PROGRESSIVE TAX.

  • What?

You don't want a huge, intrusive, wealth redistributing federal government no matter what method is used to take our money to pay for it?

    What a kook!

  • you understand that by using a fair tax we would STILL be paying an income tax? Also, your cash purchases would not be private. The money would still be going to pay the elite and the banks. It would not solve the issues we have today. The only "Fair Tax" is No Tax.

  • Are you aware that the only reason we have income tax is because of the Federal Reserve? The Fair Tax is the banksters sucker punch to the people. Do some research on the Fed, and also ask yourself if you really would want the govt knowing everything you spent your money on, or if you would love to pay not only income tax but fair tax too. Its a scam bro.

  • "The stimulus money would have to go to education." Seeing how there are old buildings, lack of school supplies, etc. it could help. Don't they realize Obama is giving a middle class tax cut? If your property tax goes up it's because of state legislators.

  • Don't you realize that Obama is killing the middle class?

  • How exactly is he killing the middle class with a tax cut? Why won't Sanford use the stimulus money to help S.C. which has one of the highest umemployment rates?

  • read the communist manifesto. Learn about the Federal Reserve Oligarchy. Sanford is not accepting the stimulus out of principle and he is right. The money that the Fed has printed out will destroy the dollar. Plus we will pay interest on that money that the fed printed via income tax, and there are massive strings attached to the money. It is dirty money. Two wrongs don't make a right.

  • Yeah, so I have a grad degree and Obama isn't a communist. Second, helping fellow citizens in a state drowning in debt is ethically right. The rest are boogeyman stories, but yes there is a concentrated power at the top. What massive strings are attached?

  • You want to go ethics? Is it ethic to steal money from a persons paycheck to pay for the mistakes of others? I think not. I didn't say Obama was a communist. He is a bourgeois socialist though. Meaning YOU Me and everyone who isnt elite is at the bottom, leaving less competition up at the top for those to become richer and more powerful. The strings attached give leverage to the Federal Govt to blackmail what they want out of the states. Means you and I dont count as a person.

  • But do we get to pick and choose those worty of help? Is all of Iraq more deserving than residents of Denmark, 96, or Sumter? The government will always spend money so why not on those in our back yard. And since the top 10 or 15% own over 80% of the wealth, isn't the stimulus package help redistribute to the lower class (especially in construction which has been hit the most)? We agree that the tax cuts should be repealed though right?

  • No, we don't sadly. It is not up to our discretion. My parents are an example, they are middle class hard working. My dad works 3 jobs, mom works 2. They ended up with a tax hike this year and cannot afford it. Meanwhile their house has paint chipping off it, things are falling apart and they cant afford to get them fixed because they had to pay around 4k for taxes. They are not rich. Taking their money to give to someone else like me who has no job at the moment is not ethical either.

  • Also if you think socialism is great try living in Eastern Europe. Utopia it is not. Collectivism is not the answer nor will it ever be, because what happens is the middle class becomes poorer and the poor become poorer. The rich becomes richer because they are the ones distributing the wealth. Its like a ponzi scheme.

  • Most of our income taxes go to the Federal Reserve to pay interest for the money they print out of thin air. Not to the govt. The fed is the reason we pay an income tax. The stimulus is credit, it will have to be paid back. You cannot pay off debt with more debt. It only puts you further in the hole. It is a scam on the people. Obama did not help us with this. The presses are printing 15 fold. Dollar was already devalued 95% since the Fed was put in place, before the bailouts.

  • I'll be honest. I can't go toe to toe with you on taxes or the Fed. I'll get back to you when I learn more. I can only look at the practical: SC has over 10% unemployed. Tent communities are popping. SC schools are dilapidated and people are hungry and struggling. Would not two years of some means of income help them immediately stop from going into foreclosure? Not everyone who is losing s a lazy bum.

  • Also to make another comment about SC schools. Public schools get about 12k per child/year already. Private schools charge about 3k per child/year. The private schools have better facilities. I want to know why our schools suck so badly when all this money is going towards the public schools vs. private schools. It makes no sense. The govt doesnt spend our money wisely. They dont know how to spend money. They comprise mainly of lawyers. Lawyers know how to TAKE money not Make money. ;)

  • It's the bureaucracy at the local level and public apathy that ruins education. If you do not believe in your federal government being the supreme ruler then you should not blame your federal government for failing to be the supreme ruler.

I used to work at the County Clerks Office in my county (El Paso) and less than 5% of the county's population voted for their school district representatives. This is the fundamental problem with Americans. We want everything for nothing.

  • preaching to the choir.

  • Great video and Great Speakers. The Tea Parties are not a black against white nor a Democrat against Republican. It is about Taxing people to death and Government not listening to the people.

  • Sour grapes... these tea parties would be great if they weren't run by Republicans. Mind you, I voted for Kucinich in the primaries, and Obama in the GE, but am against the bailout. What you gotta realize its, I very highly doubt the Republican candidates would have done much different in this situation. There were gonna be bailouts, because no one truly believes in the free market anymore. And I gotta say, after years of deregulation, neither do I.

I'm all for protest, but these are silly.

  • There is no "free market".

  • Well Im a registered Independant and if I had to choose sides I choose the ones who dont kill babies as a form of birth control, the ones who value the family unit and morals, ( rather then raise kids and use autism as an excuse for bad behavior) and the eones who support the constitution. The republicans only flaw was being to christian and leting people come here and destroy our way of life.

  • The republicans flaw is that of the neocon statist. The problem that we are facing is that everyone wants everyone else to conform to their ideals and beliefs. Everyone should be seen as an individual, and should have freedom to do as they wish as long as it is not 1. harming another person. 2. harming another person's property.

Republicans and Democrats are basically 2 sides of the same coin both are statist. We need to leave each other alone and stop intervening into the affairs of others.

  • I would agree but what people fail to realize is that as this country was started as a chirstian nation that with that in mind, that is the reason we opened our doors to so many people. We told them yes we are but as long as your coming here to make a better life for you and your families then you are free to praise who you wish. As long as it doesnt hurt anyone . Thats so simple. Live here in freedom of choice as long as you dont hurt others. Well people got greedy along the way and wanted more

  • Separation of Church and state was brought up for a reason. Also, many of our framers were atheists, agnostics and diests too, not all were Christian. They came to over for religious freedom, not to form a Christian nation.

  • Well I blame the Union for that then .

  • This was before the Union. :)

  • Whoa whoa. You said seperation of church and state was brought up for a reason. What do you think that reason was Jenni? Do you know? Do you know how the idea originated?

  • Do you really want me to answer that truthfully? Can you handle the truth?

  • I'm asking the questions here. If you knew you would have answered already.

  • Because the framers wanted us to exercise FREEDOM of religion.

  • Correct. They wanted us to be free of the church of England and King George. They did not want to live in a society that promoted fiefdom. The fact that the idea of seperation of church and state was initiated by one of the framers that was a Christian shows that our ideals of freedoms was not initiated by agnostics, atheists or deists. It was initiated by Christians.

  • "i consider a lighting house to be more useful than a church"

    - Benjamin Franklin

"I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition (Christianity) one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology."

    - Thomas Jefferson

What about James Madison, George Washington, Thomas Paine and the free masons?

  • It is a two part question of which you have failed to answer the first question and seem to want to get to the second.

But your writings seem to speak to the first. You do believe that freedom of religion was one of the reasons that America and the US Constitution was founded.

  • Um...I think I already said that. Reasoning is because not all founders WERE Christian. Your argument has gotten nowhere. Please stop wasting my time and go read some history.

  • "Because the framers wanted us to exercise FREEDOM of religion. "

Do you think the founding fathers wanted decades of Americans to possibly practice Sharia law?

  • Isn't that a racist comment. The founding fathers wanted us to be able to practice what we wanted. They didn't want to put everyone in a box like you apparently want to do. Not everyone goes into a box. The founding fathers were minarchists, they didn't want government nor any religion bearing down on them, as religion is a form of control. The ones who were Christians understood this, the ones who were not understood this. They didn't want fascism.

  • wait you are saying the founding fathers were minarchists. What does that mean?

  • Basically minarchism is as close to anarchy without having anarchy. They wanted the most minimal amount of government possible, but just enough to keep things moving along. They were very much like Libertarians and believed the only role of the govt was to prevent forms of agression. They are all rolling in their graves at what we have done.

  • "here is your anarchy quote"

Isn't that a racist comment. The founding fathers wanted us to be able to practice what we wanted. They didn't want to put everyone in a box like you apparently want to do. • lol okay....

  • "Basically minarchism is as close to anarchy without having anarchy. They wanted the most minimal amount of government possible, but just enough to keep things moving along. You have an issue with the Constitution?

  • No, why would you think that?

  • Jenni, What has happened to you. What did Jesus do to make you so mad. Have you been hurt, I am sorry. Godspeed Paul

  • Live and let live, respect each other, do what you want as long as you do not harm another person, or their property. This was what the founding fathers wanted for the American people. To each his own. This is the position that we all need to take. We need to stop trying to control how everyone lives, and how everyone spends their money. Live free or die. :)

  • that would include education

  • you people are even dumber than i thought! i live in fucin greenville! you control this city! stop whining all the the time! do you you blacks in this vid! no! this is all middle aged rich ass white peeps! the world has changed! you lost! give up dumb asses! its over and so are you !

  • I guess next time we should force some black folks to attend.

Forcing people to do stuff shows how good and tolerant you are.

Like for example, forcing people to give money for bailouts of big corporations.

  • you talk about forcing people! are u kidding! who forced the idians? who forced the blacks into this country? you assholes have been forcing since the beginning of time!please! this packcage helps mor than it hurts! get over it! where was your voice when bush screwd this country up? now u speak? please! we don't want your money! its time we broke even! force! you are a joke!

  • 1. I've never forced any blacks or indians to do anything.

    2. I've been bashing Bush since 2000.

  • I really would like to see Obama's long form birth certificate... In my eyes, I consider Mr. Obama a foreign domestic enemy to this Nation.. Everything he has signed into law since Jan 20th is illegal, and he has no rights holding the highest elected office in the U.S... Posing as an impostor president and commander in chief he have stripped civilian command and control over the military establishment... This issue needs to be dealt with immediately....

  • With so many people outraged at Obama its hard to believe that the election wasnt rigged in his favor. WTF? Why is no one going after hisass?? Why is no one talking about the fact he is not a leagel president??

  • The Military is going up against it from what I hear. People are a little afraid to speak against his majesty in fear that they may be paid a visit from his henchmen.

  • You're hilarious. You folks are a minority. Just an incredibly loud and obnoxious one, that's all.

  • Democrats are just children that refuse to grow up.

  • Republicans are the same.

  • I salute all these people that showed up to voice their disgust with the Luciferian NWO puppet government. The patriot movement is growing and will soon be unstopable. Power to the people.

  • 5star Favorite. Salute from the Victory Garden Militia. Long Live the Republic ! ! !

  • The NWO has no idea what they are about to receive.

  • The Confederacy is rising once more like a Phoenix from the ashes, LET FREEDOM RING!

  • The problem with the new "Tea Parties" is that, unlike the original Tea Party, nobody is destroying anything. Maybe if one of these Tea Parties burnt down a federal building or something they''d get some respect. Too much talk. We've been talking for 150 years.

  • 1773 my family were slaves then. i can tell right now that this "revolution" they want DOESN'T INVOLVE ME... im not feeling it @ all!

  • If you don't want the government to take money from the people that worked for it, through threat of incarceration, and give it to people that did not work for it, we'd love to have you on board.

  • some of these peoples familys was slaves too. the first slaves here were irish and scottish.

  • Most of SC is made up of those cultures. The SC southern accents evolved mainly from these two accents.

  • This has nothing to do with racism. Collectivism promotes racism. This is about being an individual and responsible for yourself, and not having the govt., breathing down your back for things that may be right for just a select certain group of peoples.

  • You are a slave now! We all are. Your government steals money out of your so called labor wages. You work for free part of the week that you go into work. Think thats not a form of slavery? Figure it out. People are sick of losing their money to pay for others. We are supposed to be independent of the government. When you depend on the government for anything, you are a slave to the government because it gives them power to tell you how to live your life.

  • Your right! This country brainwashed us into this democracy. Democracy is not in line with the Republic. They bad mouthed the Republic and Just like the Confederates that rised against this type of government they gave them a bad name. Calling them racist rednecks . 96% of slavery was in the union. These facist bad mouth anyone who rises against them, Im ready to take a stand against the socialist. Id rather die in a gun fire than serve a socialist nation. GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC! In God I trust

  • fuck those rich bastards in greenville. there was NO DIVERSITY in the crowd all anglo saxon. i have never seen so many sore losers in my life

  • OH CRAP!!

    NO DIVERSITY!!

I'm more diverse than you, wanna-be rapper dude.

  • where were these "revolutionaries" when bush was urinating all over the constitution? seems a little (well a LOT) disingenuous to me. my favorite part of the video is when they are talking about stimulus money going to education and (2:09) and the crowd quickly shouts "NO!" i LMAO @ that. very telling of the IGNORANCE the crowd!

  • Your first point is actually a pretty good one. A lot of folks were cool with Bush's unconstitutional spending but are now freaking out since Obama is doing it.

But the last guy in the video has been bashing Bush for years on his talk radio show. I've been bashing Bush since 2000 on radio, TV, and my web site.

As far as education goes, private schools do twice the job with half the money, so the problem is not a lack of cash. The longer we look to money for the answer, the longer it fails.

  • contrary to popular belief that so called stimulis money is a LOAN which has to be paid back starting in 2 years. your not gonna get out of debt by creating more.

  • Public schooling gets a TON of money, and look at the conditions of the school systems. The schools are behind dumbing down America, and we have some of the lowest test scores in the world. It costs the tax payer more to send a child to PUBLIC school, than it would to send a child to Private school. This is the reasoning behind these people that you think are "ignorant". Try looking to where all this money is going and how its spent. Question the government.

  • quit bein racist

  • LINDSEY DONT CARE!!!

  • TEARS OF JOY!!!

  • Way to go South Carolina! Much respect. We will marching on Trenton on 4/15.

  • I would love to get the contact information on these speakers. Dear God was their message loud and clear for the Americans!

    5*

    ~Deo Vindice

  • Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesars, and to God the things that are Gods, (Matthew 22:15-22; Luke 20: 19-26

  • If Caesar decides what is Caesar's, then God isn't God.

What belongs to a person? What they earn and what is given to them without coercion.

Jesus pointed out the fact that Caesar's face was on the coin, which means he put the monetary system in place, and had earned something. That doesn't mean he gets anything he wants.

If it was as simple as just giving him whatever he wants, Jesus' answer would have just been, "Yes."

  • Jesus said it's the Empire's money.

Trust in the lord not right wing nation builders.

  • oh yeah what verse is that in? lolz!!!

  • Don't know your bible eh? It also says the poor shall always be with us. So much for every man a king.

  • I think it's important to note that the unemployment rate in Greenville has jumped from 7.0%in Sep 2008 to 8.3% in Dec 2008. South Carolina's unemployment rate is currently at 9.5%, the highest in 26 years.

The Dow is at its lowest point in 12 years. And it's going to get worse before it gets better. This is an unfolding crisis and extraordinary times require extraordinary action, and that includes MASSIVE injections of federal money.

What exactly is it that you people don't understand?

  • So these people are mad at Phil Gram of Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act & the Commodities Futures Modernization Act? Because if they are not, then they have been misled. Time to Google Credit Default Obligations.

  • Hey Zandprfit,

Do us a favor and STAY WHERE YOU ARE! If you harvard grads checked your facts, you would see that the liberal Democrats got us into this by screwing up Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. Oh! That would be Clinton & Obama's economic advisors! Surprise! You've screwed up the North, so leave us alone. And if you don't think I can beat a twinkie, come on down. We need a twinkie to practice on.

  • Well, if we have another civil war we'll make sure we finish you guys off this time.

  • What a bunch of idiots.

  • Why because they have a different opinoin than you?

Or because you havent the slightest clue on how economics works?

  • Obama is a Harvard graduate, with a team of economic advisors-many of whom worked for the Clinton administration, which was the best FISCALLY PERFORMING administration in the last 28 YEARS.

Now-these people in Greenville can't even beat a twinkie-how are they gonna beat an economic crisis?

Harvard graduates make the world go around. Regular citizens in South Carolina were lynching black people just 50 years ago. Gee, who do I trust? Tough decision.....

  • Harvard graduate Ernst Hanfstaengl created the infamous "Heil Hitler" chant, he spread America's straight-arm salute in Germany, and he taught the German National Socialist leader to use swastika-style symbolism in signatures

Unabomber Theodore J. Kaczynski and Jeffrey K. Skilling, former CEO of Enron, were also Harvard graduates.

So I guess going to Harvard doesn't always make you a great person.

  • Harvard has also produced 39 Nobel laureates, 34 Pulitzer Prize Winners, 6 US Presidents and 2 US Vice Presidents; 10 foreign presidents (including 3 Mexican presidents), and 9 other foreign heads of state (including two Canadian PMs); 49 US senators; 36 US governors; and 19 Supreme Court justices (including five current).

  • Bush went to Harvard, so I guess he's also a great and wonderful man, worthy of all our praise and adoration.

  • Bush and the Unabomber are the exceptions to the rule.

  • Hey lawsy58. I don't care where you went to school! It's about character, which you seem to lack.! Do us all a favor and take your liberal socialist ideas oversees, and join your cheese-eating surrender monkeys over in France. They've got a great economy don't they? And they hate America, too! You'll fit right in! Do us ALL a favor and don't come down South and ruin this part of the country, too!

Whatever you do, don't have children--your're DNA pool is dangerously low!

  • Oh yeah...don't ruin that Utopia they have down south! lol

  • and all that is due to the fact that we're republican gun owners who believe in the Bible right?

  • I don't live in that hell-hole, so why don't YOU tell ME why the South is ruined. And you can't blame it on liberals, 'cause there's few of them there, and they've NEVER been in charge.

  • Oh, it's so true.

    We're terrible.

You guys would be MUCH better off without us.

Let's just go our separate ways.

  • Bush went to Yale. I know, same difference, but that's pretty damn ignorant for someone who expects credibility when they discuss politics.

  • "President Bush received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1975"

  • You're both right. GWB earned his BA (History) from Yale in 1968. After applying for, and being rejected, by the University of Texas School of Law, he enrolled in Harvard and earned an MBA.

  • Wow, a bunch of under-educated obese rednecks in the bible belt. I'm sure they'll accomplish a lot. I'm even more sure theyll have a better plan at the end of the road than the Harvard graduate in the white house does.

  • Why bring up the fact that a lot of them are fat?

You probably wouldn't mention that if their obesity was purely genetic. I think you want to point out that they lack self control. They could be thin if they wanted to be.

But instead they stay fat, and probably have a lot of medical bills because of it.

And Obama's gonna make you pay those bills.

    He's a Harvard Graduate!!

    And you're a sucker.

  • Ha, Obama was raised by a single mother from Kansas. He not only could have became one of these people, he theoretically SHOULD have became one of these people.

But he didn't, he graduated in the top 10% of his class at Harvard instead. That's the difference between these people and him. They can't even keep their weight under control, let alone do what it takes to graduate in the top 10% of their class at Harvard.

So I don't know why we'd follow them and not the president.

  • You must have forgotten that your hero smokes cigarettes. That's a lot easier to quit than over eating.

  • That's entirely subjective. I am a smoker, & it's extremely hard for me not to smoke, but my weight/eating habits have never been a problem.

Also, Obama is not my hero, he's just the only one who seems to have any solutions that make any sense. Obama's "followers" are a lot less loyal and gullible than those of Ron Paul, or Rush Limbaugh, or even George Bush. Supporting the president doesn't make someone a fanboy.

  • zndprophet,

You and lawsy58 are starting to make sense! I do believe you've convinced me to join the mindless ranks of screaming liberals!

So how about paying my mortgage for me, since you're so eager to CHANGE. Oh, and I could use a nice car, too! What? You don't want to spread the wealth?

  • Values like let the rich get richer, while the poor get poorer. That's fascism, not democracy.

  • Your right.

But that has nothing to do with our country.

Quit being a victim and make something of yourself.

  • Haha that doesn't work anymore. Try again. I'm a small business owner. I started my own business when I was only 16. Thanks though! It's "you're" not "your".

  • If youre a small business owner than you should be outraged at the new budget.

Get prepared to be taxed to high heaven.

Remember its 250k GROSS not net.

  • I'm actually quite pleased 95% of Americans can finally get the recognition they deserve. I'm not greedy, I'm not looking for more money! I want the American people to succeed! = ] Why should I be outraged? I've seen so many people who are suffering through this, it's quite sad... I'm happy to contribute to our great nation! = ] Trust me, there are worst things out there than taxes.

  • Yes that $13 dollars is going to do wonders.

Yes to you, the thing out there that is worse than taxes is actually letting people keep the money they earn.

I bet that is a foreign concept to you.

    LOL

  • I'm sorry, but you're too consumed in issues involving money. You're making it into this HUGE moral issue, when it's not. Being a billionaire doesn't automatically make you a good person. It doesn't mean someone who makes say 30,000 dollars a year to be a horrible person. Because 95% of Americans don't make 250,000 dollars + so it's as if you're going against Americans. Obama won, that's what the people want. I respect that because it's our amazing democratic system at work!

  • I never said being a billionaire makes you anything but rich.

You commented that youre happy that americans finally get the recognition they desererve.

I merely pointed out that the "recognition" is almost nothing and that allowing them to keep the money they earned is far better recognition.

I also never said that Obama isnt the president or that i dont think hes my president.

80% of the people who are considered "rich" under Obamas budget are small business owners.

  • Well I don't think the recognition is almost nothing. Money aside, he's working for the American people. Someone actually is considering their feelings above corporations and banks. As a small business owner making what I do, I'm fine. I have everything I need. I'm not going to complain that I need to give a little to help support our country that is desperately in need of a change! If this fails, and the Republican minority has a better idea than they lay out their plan for Americans.

  • Im sorry but youre assuming Bush didnt take people feelings into consideration.

Allowing people and business to keep more of their money and not tax them to high heaven does not equate to "considering them over people".

Its great that you feel comfortable giving your hard earned money to government which is historically inefficient, but I dont.

Does me having a different opinion than you make me wrong?

Reduced taxes have a better stimulus effect than regulation.

    Its economics.

  • Well I'm not an economist, but I feel the affect as a small business owner when people aren't buying my products. What would happen under what I'm assuming a "plan of action" you would've supported. If we let the banks fail (since we don't want to give bailouts) and let homeowners loose their homes (no Affordability and Stability Plan) ,and we also keep the Bush tax cuts? I want to know you're opinion on what we should do to get out of the economic crisis we're in.

  • If you let the banks fail, other corporations would be able to obtain these assets and manage them better.

If you let the market stabalize then house prices would get low enough to where investors would start to purchase them.

When you prop things up with a cructch you dont get their true value.

  • The myth the democrats like to pass along is that there would be no revenue if they dont tax.

In reality, tax deductions bring in more revenue for the governement.

I have a BS in finance and working on my graduate.

I trade future contracts for a living, amongst other things and have been investing for the past decade, despite being 28 years old.

Believe me, Im not pulling it out of my butt.

I was the first person to be against Bush bailouts so its not a party thing with me.

  • If it worked, then why are we here?

  • I dont understand? It didnt work because they didnt let corporations fail.

They disobeyed the free market principles in the alteration of the Comm. Reinvestment. Act. which planted the seed that started this crisis.

The fact taht we DIDNT follow the rules, BUSH INCLUDED, is the reason why were here.

  • Okay I get what you're saying. So if the all the big banks who got bailed out failed, what next? Say Republicans and people who believe in the free market principles were to take over right now, what would be their first step? And second?

  • Only the big three banks had issues.

They have a total of ~1500 banks in the nations.

There is a total of 8500 in the nation. Most of which didnt need bailouts. In the vaccuum that is created when these large banks crumble, the smaller banks would in turn become larger.

The only thing the government would need to do is facilitate the loan agreements is a hurry.

  • But I definitely see your point of view.

  • Believe me when I say this...

    I RESPECT YOUR CIVILITY.

People like you are far and few between on youtube.

I would fight to the death your choice of freedom in this great country.

  • Thank you! I do not think you are a bad person or wrong. I don't really think there is a right or wrong really. Sometimes I'd like to believe that, but I know I won't change your opinion like you won't change mine. Just different circumstances and life experiences.

  • Hey I live in Greenville, this is probably the most exciting thing that's happen politically in 30 years. It's a rather boring area. It doesn't surprise me, this is a mostly Republican state deep in the bible belt.

  • These people are DEAD WEIGHT to PROGRESS in this country. THANK GOD we don't wait for them to come along with us to get things done- we drag them KICKING AND SCREAMING for THEIR OWN GOOD. Their offspring WILL appreciate it.

  • damn right

  • Ignorant libertarian papajohn5656 wrote " we libertarians .. feel.. who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do with mine (body)?

My responses to the ignorant libertarian

    1) Ron Paul is pro life

    2) I don't give a hoot what you do to YOUR body, but you positively have no right granted by the Constitution to take another life.

Which leads to the defining question: when were you a human life.

Libertarians - conservatives in name only OWNED!

  • Who is John Galt?

  • How do we get the footage of the entire event to watch?

  • So I take these protesters are mad at Bear Stearnes, Countrywide, Washington Mutual, IndyMac, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Bros. AIG, Wells Fargo and Ameriquest.

  • no i think they're just mad at liberals like usual

  • Do these people even know what the Boston Tea Party was about. And "Hah!" at the grammatical errors on the signs. Dumb rednecks.
