Depends on how you define 'best skier' - if your'e all about counting how many spins you can get in one jump or how many feet of air you get - then EP prob isn't the best. But style has GOT to be part of the equation - and he is one of the steeziest guys out there (especially switch). Its almost like he doesn't bother doing something in front of a camera unless he can do it in his sleep. I'd prefer to watch a switch pow carve done PERFECTLY than a hellscratchy cork 3. (But maybe thats just me!)

it's hard to compare, and we realy shouldn't. sage is amazing and rips harder lines, but Pollard is simply the best when it comes to switch in the backcountry, no one else can really do 5s off of cliffs. Pollard has done what everyone likes to talk about so much and brought freeskiing's park elements to the backcountry with with switch and butters and bonks and such.
