i have a few questions for my new 80 pvp rogue. What poisons do you use, and do you envenom when there are less then 5 stacks of deadly on the target? how exactly do you play a mutilate rogue

i have a question. wouldnt two deadlies be better because then at the end of your cs/ks you will have five stacks and five points and envenom for the kill? i tried deadly oh and wound MH and i usually only have 2 or 3 stacks at the end of my stuns. i am specced into poison application/envenom damage so i have max poison application. envenom is real nice, i know. But wouldnt it be more useful to have 5 deadly stacks faster for that 6k or more envenom?

@ts9600 Well you might want to look into getting a 1.40 dagger for offhand deadly procs if you don't have one already. I think there's one in like PoS or something that's decent until you get your 1800. If you can't do that, if you really want more deadly procs, just shiv. An old rogue trick is getting a macro to equip a level 1 1.40 dagger with deadly poison on it and shiv with it before switching back to your regular dagger. That, and you need to remember that SnD can be very useful. Hint hint

@ts9600 Also, you could potentially go deadly/deadly but it would probably result in a loss of sustained DPS and control over your target, considering would poison is extremely valuable and it's pretty much a passive mortal strike debuff. Like I said I would go with getting a 1.4 dagger or shivving with a macro.

@TehMattz what i have found to be a good source of dmg is putting deadly on the main hand, and instant on the OH, mainly becuz of tht talent in the mutilate tree that u get when u are envenom, soooo whenever u shiv, u do the regular bout 500dmg but an xtra 1.5k for the instant wound poison, which tht telnt makes a 100 percnet chance to hit, is this a good idea :O

@gueren717 No. Not at all. Never do this.

You need wound poison and crippling poison on at all times because mutilate is sustained DPS. Even DPS classes might be able to heal through your damage without WP and crippling to keep them snared.

Also, don't put deadly on your main hand, it could apply with a gouge. It's just something you don't do.

@TehMattz but with the deadly brew talent, whenever u use instant poison, crippling poison gets on teh target even if u dont have crippling poison on ur wep

@gueren717 I was talking about the wound poison debuff. If you use instant expect to not kill anyone that can heal themselves.
