I have a dobie... He's hogging the chair I'm sitting in now. lol. He's 13wks and is getting his ears wrapped tomorrow... At the moment he has a halo and cone on his head. Getting them cut doesn't bother him one bit. It just hurts looking at him, but I'm sure he will be beautiful.
Dobies have a habit of growing from the feet up. All the ones I have bred have had huge clumpy paws thumping about the place. So funny when they are all out of proportion.

I never noticed how similar doberman and rottweiler puppies look! I saw a rottie puppy that look just like this one, only his ears were smaller by a bit...

We have Dobermanns too and the youngest we have we got him when he was a puppy too and that was soooo cute! I wish we had made videos of him too back then...

It is really lovely. We have an 11-week-old, fluffy ears, too. I felt so sorry about him when we arrived to the point to take him for cutting.
