If any remembers the NEC plasma tvs they supported high refresh rates up to 120 hz not this fake gimmick crap like to day,UXGA on NEC plasma tvs support a refresh
Also he is 6.3ft tall and a large guy, so check out the proportion... when you see it in the beginning makes the perspective seem smaller and your eye tells you the screen is smaller than it is in reality. A visual illusion ha ha
I will get him to post another video of measuring it with a tape measure to prove the point if people keep writing comments about the size not being 42
I took this video of my hubby racing on a digital camera with video function, not DV camera - the angle of view makes it looks smaller. It is NOT 38 or 32 inch it is 42. I just went and measured and it is 106cm diagonally - the black bezel speakers makes it appear smaller - diagonally from speaker to speaker corner it is 133cm. It is a panasonic TH 42PA20 model which is 42 inch
Not sure why people say its not a 42 when it is. But I am not worried as I now have a 50" on the wall at home and play my pc games at 1080p on it through HDMI input
why is video out put not taking up the whole screen? Your actual gaming screen is like 37''. You can see the unused portion of the screen which is probably around 4-5 inches.
hi guys i need some help from someone who knows about plasma tv...now i bought a new 50 inch samsung plasma and someone told me that plasma tvs have a game mode where it reduces the color so you can play video games..is this true...is it safe to play video games on it...please help!
hi guys i was wondering if it is safe to play games on my plasma tv...i have a new 50 inch samsung plasma and someone told me that if your tv has a game mode then you can play games cause it reduces the color to game quality,,,is this true please help!
playing games on a plasma is no problem. I have a PS3 and a Wii connected along side my pc. They all work fine, with no need for reduction of color. Read your manual if your concerned about what setting to have your games on. Enjoy your 50"
if you do or did play COD4, do you have any slightly blurry surrounding when making turns or jagged? I have an LCD and have some trouble on COD4. I never played on a plasma, so I don't know if it might part of the game to blame.
Might not look like it in the video but it is 42". It is a Panasonic TH-42PA20 model. It has a vga input in the front so I connected it to my computer to try gaming on.
Plasmas generally have less native resolution LCD that playing good and if one computer is to have high resolution, lag? 100mhz= no lag, ghosting? only sometimes and yes the black is better. Sorry for my bad English.
This video is a few years old now and so my plasma TV is only an EDTV version capable of 1024x768 res on PC mode. It wont look as good as a new LCD with res of 1248x1024 and above but it is very large and make you have to sit back to use it. Get an LCD, a lot lighter too as this TV's weight needs 2 people to move it with stand attached.
thats not 42" lmao also using a plasma for gaming is a stupid idea plasmas over heat. Use a LED for gaming much better quality too.
