adobe flash is much better than pencil and pivot because it uses keyframes and produces much smotther animations

@NomNomPlz yes i recomend starting with pencil or pivot before adobe flash using flash takes alot more skill and patience but learning flash can step your animations up by 70% like...... lets say you made a animation is pencil, well if you make that same animation in flash (which is possible) it will look much better.

Hey ! Nice man^^ but, get Macromedia Flash, there are layers there to, but not only layers, but frames (Pictures) and you could press a button and get Onion skin (the frame after you can see the picture from before in lighter opacity, but you dont need to save every picture, just create one picture and go to next frame, so much easyer =P

you would need to buy a tablet... you can find one in a electronics store. They can be expensive though.

no, you don't need to buy a tablet, but you need a digital camera .you can take several pieces of paper.you draw something. take another paper. draw something. then when your done. take pictures of it, and then take to usb or memory card and put it in ur pc or laptop. put it in your files. and then put it in windows movie maker. then animate!

i think what they're doing is with each new layer is the next frame, they jus make the opacity lighter to see what the previous frame looked like

This is great! It helped me so much! I'm very grateful but Im a little confused on how you got his 'aura' to move around him while his body did not move on those last clips. I wasn't sure but it looked like you put the aura on separate layers so I couldnt tell how you got them to move yet kept his body there...

I can help you with that. He copyed the body layer, over and over, but each the time changed the tails positions, so when it was put into motion, you get "movement".
