ive never heard of sparkle poi, and i dont know if its the same thing but me and some friends used thin wire tied to extra fine steel wool and lit the steel wool and swung it around. ie FIREWIRE. makes the same effect but cooler in my opinion.. since youtube is stupid and you cant post links try searching for Freakin Sweet Firewires posted by username Jitzig. badass stuff

Depends on what kind of stick you get.

Some last 12 hours, some last 8 hours, some last 30 minutes, and other 5 minutes.

The shorter they last the brighter they are.
