Ever heard the story of the Lone Survivor? In Afghanistan in 2005? Where 4 Navy Seals took on hundreds of hardened Taliban fighters? Well after killing at least 70-100 of them (long story short, look it up if you want...look up operation Red Wing) and running out of ammo, they finally got 3 of them.

@mattmatt115 If you looked up the story, you would have known was that all those men had were their rifles in terms of technology. Lt Mike Murphy did have a cell phone, but he had to expose himself and ultimately sacrifice himself to call help for his men. You would have known this if you'd just swallow your pride and get the facts. Use your frontal lobe man.
Oh clearly no night vision, absolutely no satellite/uav intelligence provided from command and of course not using camo, or secure communication equipment, or rugged body protection, shit i didnt realize the hardened taliban have all these things too! Brits just sent in an elite squad of guys in jeans tshirts and sneakers with their rifles right?

@mattmatt115 The event happened during the day so yes, clearly no night vision. Intelligence on this mission got them in the mess in the first place, but you're right about camo, their coms got ripped away while falling/ retreating down the mountain countless times,( yes, that means they were at a height disadvantage too.) and most special operators don't wear body armor including these guys. Only one was wearing a helmet and it was knocked off early in the battle. Any more assumptions?
