  • wow TheWazika i wish i was you

  • @amoylan why?

  • @marcalrafael10 i was being sarcastic, he refers to himself as a talented independant artist. a little obnoxious in my opinion

  • Big ups to another talented independant artist much like myself.

  • wow

  • awesome!

  • Good to FINALLY see the work the dude created. It's intriguing and innovative. But too much information precedes it.

  • reminds me of denis leary

  • theres Wally!...Or Waldo

  • and English

  • how do you know hes gay?

  • That end part is stunning!

  • Awesome!!!

  • AMAZING

  • Comment removed

  • in one word. WOW!

oh go on have another 'excellent!'

  • awesome

    good job on recycling

  • Nice! I am guessing that you either a. cut out all of the frames by hand, or b. cut the pictures with one of those really nice machines that do it for you. Seeing that you made everything by hand, I would guess a. since those cutting printers cost A LOT! :) That is another thing I could try...

  • the end is so sick ut dam that looks hard

  • wow that was amazing. i also saw your quick tips video. both were great help. thank you for that.

  • Elbow grease is right - You can do it! Great vid guys

  • Wow......... THAM! the video is so cool. and the music made just finish it just right.

  • that animation was freakin sweet

  • very, very cool

  • i'd to know if you can make a video showing how to make motion capture without expensive equipment.

    Thanks!

  • That Stop Motion was fucking AMAZING!!!

  • ever since bubba died lol ya right!

  • i've been an artist my whole life (right handed) and i was in a car accident that broke my neck in 4 places and it paralyzed my right arm. since then i've been getting into computer graphics, a field i worked in for 13 years, and now i'm getting back into photography, video, etc. thanks for doing these videos, you've given me new motivation!

  • @craiger5 Dude, I'm so sorry for you, I'm right handed too and I don't know what I'd do if that happened to me...

  • @craiger5 Damn dude you got the heart of a lion, hope you're doing good

  • @craiger5 A brah if your heart still is in animation why don't you use the computer software anime studios.

  • Ever since Bubba died, I promised I'd never draw again... thanks guys, I'm going to pick up my pencil again.

  • That must be incredibly time consuming. Beautiful though.

  • "This guy is an amazing animator, hands down. Bonus: He's worked at the studio I've been thinking about getting into. " im saying dont talk about thinking about getting into that studio .....do it

  • dont think if its that good do it....dont just talk about it

  • what studio would that be? im actually in college studing animation, and looking for a studio in orlando, maybe a lowkey internet animation one.

  • 4:03...my fkn hair never falls back in position like that!....that must be adobe after effects....

  • if javan nivey have a youtube acount

  • looks cool

  • SHUT UP

  • i agree nop more comment posting from you sharkman

  • Thanks for all the helpful tips. I was wondering if you wouldnt mind checking out one of my short animations.

  • I'm a little confused..

You printed out the images.. then cut them out?

    And then photographed them all?..

But how do you make each frame to seem like it was moving backward into the distance?

Could you explain more on this?

Thanks. (Great work too! I've watched all your videos, and almost all the indy mogul stuff, Thanks!)

  • what kind of surface do you work with while using clay/playdoh??

  • I normally dont make comments on videos but I would like to say this. Yes, 3-D art is taking over. However, 2-D art or claymation or cartoons will not just disappear. It all depends on what you are trying to do. There are reasons for each one. There are still things 3-D cant do and some things it just shouldnt do. In Beowulf, they couldve just used real people but they didnt however because of the camera shots. Otherwise they would have. So you see what Im saying?

  • the animation was out of this world!

  • thats such an awesome effect. wat a cool way to animate

  • This is great!

    Favorited.

    - TAE

  • the animation was nice!

  • i have never seen animation like that before. it was so cool. im going to have to try it myself... if i find some patience on the street...

  • that animation was amazing

  • Beautiful peice of art, and incredibly well executed. The instructions were goood on how to make the set up, but the animation was mind boggling. Nice dedication, can't wait to see more! :D

  • Very unusual and beautiful stop motion. Good show. Thank you.

  • Javan Ivey reminds me of Sean William Scott

  • Great animation never seen anything like that in stop motion.

  • THERES WALDO!

  • The animation was amazing keep up the good work

  • Wow. Javan is amazing.. I'm an animator from the uk and hadn't heard of him. amazing animation technique. 5*

  • wow that was great i'd like 2 c it but with some color it's awesome

  • man that animation at the end was totally AWESOME! XD that was cool id love to do something like that somtime

  • Way cool dude!

  • Good show. I was expecting some that showed off his technique, but this show was more of an intro to Javan, which is cool. Next week, it should pick up. He's one hell of a talented guy. I'm really interested in how he brings it all together in Final Cut.

  • everything up to 6:16 was pretty boring. "This is an L clamp - it only cost 50 cents".

  • i agree hahaha

  • no it isn't its getting more and more popular eg the 3 adverts are now done with animation i like it because its interesting making something come to life

  • Shut up! People that attempt it are still learning. How else do you think that Tim Burton learned how to do it? Claymation and Stop Motion Animation may be old, but it is not dead.

  • You really should open your eyes and look around. Stop motion is everywhere, from advertising to movies. It is not a dead art.

  • That quite an ignorant comment. 3D animation still suck compared to good old miniatures. There is nothing like real light on real surfaces. The recent star wars do the talking. For cartoon animation, its not because the Disney 2d animation studios closed that the medium is dead too. There isn't any ''dead art'' art don't follow any rules, it serve creativity and creativity cost nothing. His video showed it quite well.

  • Suck my Dick AMystic

2d animation takes real skill, its not fucking renders and shape manipulation, its hand drawn skill. 3d takes no skill, just knowledge of a program. you're an idiot and i hope your dad molests you.

Indy, great work, i've been animation for years and love seeing new work. keep it up, 3d is gay.

  • Closed minded jackass.

  • love it. fantastic efect and tips put some more of your stopmotion work onto youtube

  • Nice, very different style.

  • Dude that's wicked :O

  • omg!!!

  • that was such an amazing effect ! wow, totally trippy man !

  • i bet it was hell cutting all those out!

  • just remember guys... its not so hard. just a little measuring and some elbow grease, and anything can happen. hahhahahahaha

  • The animation guy is hot and he has a great chest :)

  • oh, sorry, and the animation was wicked, wow! That was a lot of paper for 10 seconds, omg, that takes a lot of patience to set up, but it was worth it.

  • haha you're suppose to look at him work and not his chest!

  • The final product is sooooooo cool! Amazing!

  • That was an amazing animation!

i wonder how long it took him to make it?

  • nice earrings

  • so that's what happened to my lamp.

  • why'd you leave it by the side of the road?

  • what - a man can't leave a lamp by the side of the road anymore? damn animators lurking around every corner.

  • is that a joke?

  • Ha ha ha. I lose more lamps that way.

  • once i found a huge box full of fish and that was ok, but never a lamp. lamps are just not kosher.

I don't know how two professionals are unaware that the tripod thread is 1/4 inch national course 20 TPI. its common knowledge to both professional animators and cinematographers as well as videographers!
