How to put your mp3 file into Maschine to sample

Nice, vid keep it simple and to the point. I'm a Mac user I use a program call sound flower bed, I would had that sampled in two seconds! Try it. Good job though Lil mama!

hey, whenever I import a wav. song into a maschine pad, and i tap the pad, the song plays all the way through, and if I try to press the pad while the song is playing, it just plays the song from the beginning without stopping the first play-through, so I just have the song playing twice at the same time. Do you know how I can make it so the song only plays when I hold down the pad? pleeassseee respond, and thanks :)

you should be able to sample directly from your soundcard input over the internet or any audio source i.e. cd or in you case mp3 player

nice way of doing it....but here is a easy way of doing it ...insteady of clogging harddrive with a million mp3's..grab any song you want to sample off youtube or mp3...then go to ''youtube to mp3''save to fav list...then on your start icon look up ''youtube to mp3 and put it on desktop..then download free audacity...basicly you download the mp3 open folder and drag on desktop..then put it in audacity and the loop you need...save as wav it goes to desktop..now delete the old mp3..its perect..

BTW you do know that if you don't wanna edit b4 you get it into maschine, itunes will convert your mp3 to .wav anyway.

No need for these extra steps :)

You just need to make your import settings in itunes preferences to .wav. Once you have done that, right click a track and choose convert to wave from the drop down. Then just drag it out of itunes.

So simple :)

@H4NDCRAFTED thank you for all your comments, I have always had a converter but if i had known about the information that your say to me now back then I probably would have done that, but i had absolutely no clue at the time I also use Audacity but like I said at the time I really didn't know or think about any other way

You could just download Audacity which is a free wave editor and you can export as a .wav or .aiff and then your not ripping off software developers!

This is why we can't have nice things!
