tonight, I went to my friends house, he lent me his N64, I connected it at home. I tried to play bt I had to blow into the game a few times and in the N64 (ahh nostalgia) after that, I played this game all night long untill 3 pm. This was one of the best days in years.

P.S. I had to pick up his because I never had one, this was the reason I was there 4 days a week when I was young.

Okay, so basically the game is in hi def, it has a better draw distance, they've made some cosmetic changes to the life bar and opening jamboree, and they've maxed out the contrast so that you can't tell that they haven't bothered to update the rest of the textures.

it's great to have this game on xbox, but for me is more than a re-release than a remake, they didn't remake anything, so it's the same thing if you play this on a xbox360, N64 or even emulated, it the same awesome game in a different console

For both Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie's release on the XBLA, I set my alarm for like 5 AM so I could play them as soon as possible, BK was the first video game I ever got back in 1998 when my parents bought it for me, and they are in my list of my top 5 games of all time, so glad that they're on xbox now so I can play them whenever I want :)

@superbowserbros3 Well one reason is so many people think hd 720p suddenly means much better graphics, well that's not the case, hd is just the resolution, The high amounts of detail in 360 games comes from the power of the hardware not the resolution alone, so they're able to put more detail in the environments etc. This game is a n64 game, they upped the res to 720p for the download, the game looks the exact same cause they didn't change the textures or anything, just made the pixels smaller.

People are pissy because when they heard that Banjo and Kazooie would be making a return, they thought that they would have the same abilities plus improved graphics, sounds, new characters, and the like. In Nuts & Bolts, they deleted the things that made the old games great, only introduced three new characters, and failed.

Hey I've heard that the music sometimes desynce on the XBLA vers. Supposedly evertime the games loads a new area/cutscene the music gets more desynced since its loading them faster that on the N64. Is this true?
