I love the way Nick makes his drums gallop at the end,the pattern he plays using both kicks and the snare.He alternates between 3 hits on his kicks and 2 hits on the kicks and 1 on the snare..beautiful.

He had left the band because back at the time he had surgery to remove a tumor from his knee. Durring the recovery time Dave had a stand in drummer named Jimmy Degrasso which he eventually liked enough to call up Nick and fired him

In fact Nick Menza's drumming was becoming worse over the years, and he kept being lazy while recording albums (just hopping in the car to get some food at the supermarket right when they wanted to record a song) and crying about money, aswell as making very childish jokes. I know this becuase I read Dave Mustaines book. Dave Mustaine NEVER fires people without giving them warnings because of the way HE got kicked himself out of Metallica, Nick fucked up. Great drummer tho :).
