As it stands now, Obama is way too extremely far left to have much a chance against McCain in 2008. Look up McGovern in 1972 and Mondale in 1984 and see how far those ultra-left wing liberals got. Without Hilary as Obama's running mate, I predict McCain will get at least 400 electorial votes. If Obama is actually crazy enough to tap Hilary as his VP, then I wouldn't be surprised if McCain gets 500 electoral votes.
