I actually liked the current Avenger (though not like the Avenger of the late 1990s). The new Cayman Club Sport thing looks very nice. Never hated the car. Chrysler screwed Mercedes the company that used to build the most reliable cars ever.
Fiat's quality used to be pretty bad but it has been improved a lot over the past years. Now they offer 5 year/300,000 mile warranty and that says something.
But since Chrysler had no problems ruining Mercedes, they'll probably knock Fiat off the cliff easily.
What I'm most worried about is Fiat getting screwed. They're one of the richest car manufacturers in the world and partial owner of Ferrari. Chrysler merging with Fiat requires Chysler getting some of the money...therefore Fiat won't be on it's usually level of economic stability and then go bust...that's my theory :D

that's what i was saying. SOME BMW people (please don't call them enthusiasts unless they know what they're talking about) don't know crap and they embarrass me. and btw, BMW's do come with oil dipsticks (at least my mom's 2007 530xi sports wagon does). and i don't like iDrive. it doesn't at to the car. that's not why i like them. i like the way they drive (fyi i drive an 1998 E36 M3. i know about the car, i can change the oil, and it doesn't have iDrive.

actually it IS a big deal, not only because you can't check it yourself, but also, there are lots of problems with the electronic meter
The ADD OIL light came on randomly, so people were adding oil when they shouldn't have, even destroying engines in some cases

really? i haven't heard too much about that. i was assuming it worked, but i guess not. i'm surprised it doesn't, cause there have been low oil alerts and low coolant alerts on cars for years that haven't malfunctioned, at least in my experience.

I actually liked the current Avenger (though not like the Avenger of the late 1990s). The new Cayman Club Sport thing looks very nice. Never hated the car. As for the 24 Hours of Daytona, I wished I got to see more of that race than I wanted to. Another great episode. Extend my birthday wishes to the 16-year old fellow.

Chrysler screwed Mercedes the company that used to build the most reliable cars ever.
Fiat's quality used to be pretty bad but it has been improved a lot over the past years. Now they offer 5 year/300,000 mile warranty and that says something.
But since Chrysler had no problems ruining Mercedes, they'll probably knock Fiat off the cliff easily.
I hope they both don't go bust.

What I'm most worried about is Fiat getting screwed. They're one of the richest car manufacturers in the world and partial owner of Ferrari. Chrysler merging with Fiat requires Chysler getting some of the money...therefore Fiat won't be on it's usually level of economic stability and then go bust...that's my theory :D
