You have many solution to lock it as glue , fat thick or fabric but for the touareg or pajero the piece is sold and the bronco you have a systeme for it who is sell with it.

Yes the front diff is lock, I have used the plastic piece who is sold with the kit to do it. You have just one at first but you can buy a second one after.

i locked mine with power weld in the spider gears in front, and i used the piece that came in the kit in the rear diffs.

If i understand your question, it's because the tires don't touch the mud...

O.K. The Black Pajero didn't "BRAKE" because he put the reciever in a balloon and put the electronic speed controller (esc) in a waterproof box, and the tires touched the bottom the first time but the tires did not touch the second time. That is why it did not "BRAKE" :P

I have found the bronco's tires on the website conrad, in the modelisme section. Their hight id 100mm, and they are named tractor tires.

For the bronco about 500euro aloneit's a tamiya high-lift who is sold with a f-350 body).

The tires touch the mud under the water during the first but not during the second test... it's the reason who allows to the xc to leave the water...++
