If you have to have an IPhone, nothing else is going to do. But if you're not hung up on a particular brand, why not go for a phone that offers many of the same great features, but at a much better price? Straight Talk's E71 is the way to go for people who want to be cutting edge without going broke!
@vanessadoyle12 I agree that nothing really beats the iPhone, but I simply can't afford to pay 100 bucks a month for a wireless plan on my budget. This seems to be like the next best thing, plus I can essentially do the same things and it costs less than half as much per month. So I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.
@TOgtv - I highly doubt Straight Talk is going to pick up the iphone, but when you are getting so many great benefits, who needs it? For only $45 a month you can utilize the unlimited minutes, texts and data on one of Straight Talk's smart phones. It may not be an iphone, but at least it won't break the bank and there are no contracts to worry about.

My boss put me in charge of researching the smart phones available with prepaid. She is trying to cut back on expenses and the contract phone is just draining her. Todya, I was able to actually hold and check out this phone at my friend's house. This is a great looking phone with all the features she needs and then some. Since you need the unlimited plan to use it, my boss can plan the $45 into her monthly budget. And, she won't have to obligate to another expensive contract.
I really feel like Straight Talk has turned a corner here. One of the things most of friends who still have contracts would say is "they limit the features on their nicer phones". Well its no longer true and I can't why anyone would want anything else, I really doubt they could beat the price!
This phone is an absolute gem! What I really find so cool is the giving commands by voice. I have never had such a clever phone as this one - it is a pure genius
I'm glad to see all these positive comments for this phone because I was thinking of getting it as an xmas gift for my brother. He's starting his own business, and this seems like a phone he could do that with. And since it's only $45 for all the unlimited stuff each month that'll help him with his budget.
I did some research and found that you can make text to speech work on the E71. You have to download a voice package to your computer and use the Nokia PC Suite to transfer it to the phone. I am visually impaired and was wondering if anyone knows if this phone has any accessibility features such as the ability to read aloud text messages like some other phones. Any help is appreciated.
I like this phone, but like the other comments I would like to see it perform. When you go to walmart this phones are seal in a package. I do not want to pay more than $45 a month for service. Metro has the $40 a month plan with the Samsung Caliber and Samsung Code smartphones, I really don't care for the bb $60 a month. Straight Talk runs on the verizon network. I would think is more reliable for smartphones and its features than the Metro network.
@kabezon28 yep straightalk runs on verizon and at&T phones that end with a C is CDMA(VERIZON) pHONES That end with a G is GSM(CINGULAR/AT&T) but still good company there growing 45 a month is good cuz other prepaid company wanna charge u 10 dallors or more for smartphone plans like boost and virgin mobile straightalk kept it at 45 which is a plus
@kabezon28 most of straight talk phones run on verizon network but this phone runs on at&t so make sure you look into ur choice when you buy a phone check out this guys video
I would like to know how well the phone performs in regards to wireless data. Is it pretty snappy? Do some website loading tests, how well facebook performs.. etc. Thank you!
