Hey, I freaked out when I only did 1 damage as well but... I was disappointed when I killed it on the third hit. Max def, decent attack, and no elemental weakness is a pain in the arse but... at least their HP isn't like 42 XD. Yes, It is Magic Barrier, it's exactly the same as the white mage's barrier move.
