Undoubtedly, Simone has nice ass but it's not supposed to boast of one's body in metal. If it were a pop band then there's nothing to say. But Epica plays metal music, the accent must be on music, not on woman's wonderful thighs/boobs.

ha ha ha you guys do not have an idea......tarja is a soprano.....simone is mezzosoprano......no compare them......is not the samen voice..... and tarja has more vocal range than simone....so in singing terms....tarja is better....i don't have nothing vs simone but it's true

@p4u14m0x4 Simone is a light-lyric soprano, not a mezzo. Have you EVER listened to any mezzo? I guess not. Their voices are 10 times darker than Simone's. BTW Simone is better trained than Floor and Tarja, she sings real opera, unlike Tarja and Floor, she simply has a lighter voice, so she sounds less operatic. Vocal range and powerful vocals are not everything, on the contrary, they mean pretty much nothing (they depend on lenght and thickness of vocal chords - and vocals chords depend on DNA).

Opera is all about the sound of your voice, Tarja and Floor obviuosly don't have a well trained voice. Simone does, and that's a fact. But again ignorance is bliss for me, more jobs for good singers, yay! :D

I think Sancta Terra is a very hard song. It is high and pretty fast. Given that Simone was sick for a very long time, in which she probably didn't have the time or strength to train her voice, I think it is acceptable.

Anyway I think she is improving!

I think both Simone and Floor are improving a lot, and Simone is recovering from sickness... Moreover in Milan the weather conditions were terrible for singing...They are so young...I think we can just say them "congratulations" for their amazing voices...and for their hundreds of concerts...Of corse they have to improve...
