I want to thank you for posting this video!! It brought back many memories for me, since I was one of the MWSS 272 Bulk Fuel Rangers from April '03-March '05. There were people that I remember being stationed with in the video and I have wonderful memories of being an "untouchable"!! Once again, THANK YOU!!!
that isn't even funny in the slightest. our brothers and sisters have died defending this country. we're not "untouchable". every day lives are given for you to live yours. our country has lost it's loyalty to the armed forces. perfect example: between june 25 and july 5, 28 soldiers died without even a mention of their sacrifice because every news channel was too interested in the kiddie toucher's drug overdose. it took an angry letter from an aunt to gain even the slightest acknowledgment.
You do realize that the 'untouchables' refers to MWSS 272, thats their nick name. It was a tragedy that more attention was payed to Jacksons death than to the thirteen brave men and wemon who lost their life but don't jump down someones throat for showing pride in a unit. From a 2009 MWSS 272 wife, Thank you HiTekk, for your service and support. Beautiful video.
actually no i didn't realize that. the reason i jumped down his throat about it is because about 15 minutes before i read his post, i had an argument with someone that USA is "indestructible". not to mention on top of that a close friend's cousin was killed in combat last year during a raid. although i jumped to conclusions about what he meant, i still stand by what i said. i personally find it insulting when people disrespect their own military. (not meaning that he did so)
This is what are military men and women sign up for. As Civilians its our job to support and have faith in them, we all know that they aren't really untouchable or indestuctable but it helps me, as a spouse, sleep a little better at night thinking that my husband is in fact the best of the best, working with the best of the best, and surrounded by 'super heros' and I'm sure it helps their nerves as well to keep getting told that.
I would personally rather have someone fighting for me that thinks that they're untouchable rather than someone who thinks that they're squishy and easily hurt.
Sometimes that small word and little amount of confedence will keep that moment of hesitation away and will help you survive.
But it's a matter of oppinion. as long as we both support our boys and girls I have no qualms and infact, thank you for your support!
(sorry, had to split into two comments because of too much text)
HiTekk, thanks for your service. We are so blessed by brave men/women like yourself. Thanks for posting this video! btw there's a great song called Because of the Brave by a group called DayOne.
It's been favorited 4 times. I'm sure that's better than any comment. Anytime something is favorited by even one person, it means it was probably pretty damn good!
Whats up people I'm looking for some feedback here !! 31 veiws and Not a single comment? Either the video was so good it left you speechless or nobody has any positive veiws on the subject!
