actually the guy who wins every fight is the one who kicks the other guy in the groin. in fact it's such a dangerous move that they've outlawed it in all competitive fighting sports.
Great point on it "coming from the feet"; I think I've heard instructor's say that maybe three times in twenty years of training; it's not taught widely enough, I think only in boxing and tai-jutsu is it generally understood that the feet drive every technique.
I think your videos are brilliant. I'm a rookie police officer and some of your tips are invaluable. What I would give for a couple of lessons with you! You seem like a great teacher and an intelligent guy, keep up the good work.
I know a lot of people that can't bring themselves to get in close in fear of getting hurt. if you have the confidence in yourself, there is higher success you will be able to get in and follow through. Like my teacher always used to tell me, "Don't be afraid of the flame, just don't get burned"
@thanatos84 That's an excellent anology. I prefer the Lord of the Ring's "the closer you are to danger, the further you are from harm", but yeah that works too
