sweet engine.i was thinkin about puttung a supercharger in my car,but i might just put another cam and underdrive pulleys,i prolly just port the heads all the way out alnong with some other ideas
Im putting a tgp 3.1 L factory turbo engine into mine, i see you made your cross over pipe and specially made everything to fit. but why not use a different trany mount found on the newer beretta. then you could use the TGP cross over pipes and the turbo would sit up close to the engine.very cool though i would like to see some numbers on what this thing puts out, im hoping for around 350 HP at the wheels with mine.
u put alot of work into that i have a berreta an i want to put a supercharger on it but i put a small block motor in it o and where did u put the battery an about how much did it cost
@extremerider23 the battery is in the trunk, and about $600.00 and alot of favors, I also gave my friend a engine and a set of rims to do the fabrication work
With that goofy body kit, I'd never expect there to be anything serious under the hood.
Did you do the goofy body mods to mess with people? We did a home made RAM-AIR scoop into a 1993 Baretta of my friend's. Only one opening of course and it dumped directly into the stock air filter box. The stock plastic duct going behind the headlight was very restrictive and the only car we actually got a REAL gain in HP by changing the intake ducting on. It was a little goofy but wan great.
Oh, the exhaust sound out of these V6 engines doesn't sound too bad like most import V6's. I dunno if it's just the angle of the V configuration or what. But the 2.8/3.1 doesn't sound farty like a Mitsubishi, Honda, etc.
Oh thank gawd! LOL! Make it a sleeper if anything. I do think it's cool to see a turbo 3.1. You need to show some videos of it running though. We almost turbo charged the friend's 3.1 Beretta but he gave the car to his sister to drive. She later let it get impounded!
But at least it's not ALL rice. Aside from the kit, which doesn't flow with the body lines as nicely as the Z04 (GTZ/Z26) or rare optional Trossa kit, it's STILL a really nice Beretta. And all the work he's put into it makes it worthwhile. I think a custom paint scheme could make the kit appear less distracting...
put in a jet performance chip, i redid the suspesnion, lowered it, new sub frame, engine, trans, clutch and clutch mastercylinder, and a few other things i don't want to indulge about.
mane love the car i got a 96 beretta. I got 2 questions. One got any spare motors laying around? i just blew the head gaskets and warped both of my heads. Second question how much did it cost to turbo the car?

the turbo might be too much for that little engine unless you did some serious mods
