I've been listening to several of the songs from this album and I must say that I love it. Finally he seems clean again and his talents are at their best. My favourite STP album was recorded when he was clean and in prison. This is great. I love it when the poppy is crushed under the sound of a beautiful flower. Keep it up Scott if you're reading. You have a lot of support out here if you do. Rock and roll baby.

Kinda hard to record albums in prison?? I heard the acoustics suck. Too bad everyone has to equate his past with his present. How about just saying it's a great album, go to the shows, buy merch, etc. and don't rehash the past.

I've been listening to his music for a long time. I love all of his albums. My favorites are 12 Bar Blues and STPs Shangri La De Da. This album is just not cutting it for me. I don't get it. I'm really trying, but I'm just not feeling it.....:0( And truly, I love his work!!! Oh well, there was bound to be one album by him I just couldn't get into. I suppose this is it..

well idk about you really...cuz 12 Bar Blues i couldn't def. not get into and i'm like a Scott Weiland head biggest fan...Ever i think...second fav album is Core of all time...Shangri was amazing tooo but from knowing that you didn't favor Core and Purple before Shangri kinda explains why you like 12 bar and not his new album...kinda like a scott horrorscope there...lol but i like scott fans so your ok i guess

Yeah, I'm not into the more popular albums by him I guess. The less it was favored by the majority, the more I liked it. I really can't get into Core. It was far too popular when I was young, and now it just seems overplayed.

Shangri never became pplr and 12 Bar was really quiet as well. I LOVE them. They are his masterpieces. All the popular stuff is just played to the masses. 12 is so good because we get to see his thoughts and feeling.

you know guys, i love all his music, since the very first song from core to the last one of happy in galoshes and i think scott weiland is like the wine, musically speaking, he improves with the years, even though i don't have a favourite album i do think his best song or on of his best songs is loving the alien with vr, but that's just my opinion, weiland rocks!!!long live to the guy
