great video..i grew up loving kiss and at 48 i still rock to kiss..i shook genes hand and saw him with out makeup back stage at a perth concert when i was 15
also want to say great slide show video i was born in 72 and got into kiss when i was lil and could understand music and stuff long story short i cant belive this is the first time im hearing this song again great job you did on the video thanks so much for uploading this
@spidey5959 As you can see, many people do not know some of the photos, nor know this song, many of the photos belong to the book KISS Vintage Photo's - 1974 - 1981
@Mikeroo999, just because many of the pictures were found on the internet does not mean they are not rare. It takes extensive searching to find new photos that many fans have not seen. Yerblues clearly did a lot of work to put together a great montage. I've seen LOADS of older KISS photos and many were new to me. There really is no need for sarcasm.
Great job putting all those pictures together,I really enjoyed the montage.I also collect pictures and I have over 10,000 that dates from the 70's.On your video my favorite is 3.25 I just love it.
The music itself is not all that rare. It sounds like an instrumental I have called "Daily Planet" and "Doncha Hesitate" onthe second disc of the boxed set, and "Mr. Speed" off of Rock-n-Roll Over. They were always good at rewriting a song 50 times...
@XYtruck25 Yeah I got it from my wife for x-mas. Its great so far. Im up to about the time frame when they did alive 1. I suggest it for anyone that wants another point of veiw the isnt genes.
@tomwebermusic cool, thanks for telling me. I always liked in the early 80's Ace and Eric Carr playing together. I think that was the best line up. I hope Ace talks about Eric Carrin his book.
@YERBLUES87 try again but maybe in some form of English this time? I haven't got anything against KISS, I think all 9 year old boys should have comic book hero type characters to worship and if they are born to be gay it will help them come out of the closet faster.
@Mikeroo999 ASSININE STATEMENT...WHAT IN heck are you talking about..u muxt need to come out...go for it...you must be what all of twenty...know nothing about the roots of rock...and nothing about music or KISS...if you know nothing do not speak...better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool, then to open it and remove all doubt. Scary
This does sound like something that might have been recorded for Dressed To Kill or maybe Destroyer... I was thinking Mr Speed as well...which was demoed during the Dressed sessions originally. Anyway...it is a great tune....and the video u made is top notch!!!!!
@darthinfurnus You're right, that was the first thing that came to mind when I heard it... I'm gonna guess it's from the Love Gun sessions - just has that feel to it.
with all that has gone on with this band over the past 40 years, I am wondering why this song has never seen the light of day until now? This should have probably been released in the 1975-1977 period. It would have fit well on the box set or even Sonic Boom if it was re-done by the current band. Either way, it's a great song and I hope to hear it on an album soon!
Very interesting. Huge old Kiss fan and I had never seen most of the photos. Some would have made great posters. I have never heard that song either and again, I thought i knew them all.
@talbott4 No, It's Jonny Z. Owner of megaforce records, this picture is from the late 80's, aces solo band was signed to megaforce. Google Jonny Z megaforce if you dont believe me.
great song, too bad they didn't re-release all of their albums with some demos and unreleased songs like Motley Crue did, and put this one on Dressed to Kill
The leads sound very Wicked Lester-ish. I'm only talking about the tone and over all tone and sustain of the leads. Definitly sounds like Dontch Hesitate. This might have been dropped from Dressed to Kill, but that would be hard to believe since Kill was a short album. Remember how long the silence was in between songs on the original vinyl release? I think it's great, I would listen to it like I listen to the rest of their stuff. I've said it before to anyone who would listen....Gene and Paul are two completely underrated songwriters...
Now this is a song that should've made it to Rock and Roll Over!!

A typical Kiss filler - This band made 2/3 fillers at every record doing that period. Can´t blame spitting out records like that.
