  • Fun song! Also, that photo of Paul and Ace with the beer steins at :24 is GREAT!

  • THANK'S TO YOU...KISS MEMBER (;-))...TO POSTING THESE PICTURES !!!...

  • AWESOME! Never heard this one before. Was it on the Box Set??

  • @kissisgreat23,

i think it is because he said in a interview that he caught his hair on fire once.

  • 3:26 is from SWEDEN 76 at GRÖNA LUND the amusement park.

  • Great slide show man, only the best pics. I liked the 'Mistake' video you uploaded as well.

  • @Jules5 thank you very much

  • Nice slide show man, only the best pics. I like the vid you uploaded for 'Mistake' as well. Cheers.

  • Awsome post yerblues, thank you sir!

  • @firehousex3 Thank You!

  • Good job finding the pics !

  • to hell with all you haters and smartasses alike....great song, love it!!!!!!

  • where did you get this?

  • That was great. Loved it.

Thanks YERBLUES87 for putting this together.

  • @amrcngrl1203 thank you very much

  • at 1:17 it looks like genes hair is on fire like if you agree

  • i never heard this one.!!!! but i love it.....great song!!!

  • Does anyone know who is playing on this? Paul for sure, and sounds like Gene on bass...but Ace and Peter?

  • Excellent video! most photos were unknown to me, and all of them match so well with the song... Are you from Argentina, YERBLUES87 ?(I am).

  • song is sucky (no offense) good pics where did you get them

  • Fantastic! I have tons of bootlegs, demos, etc... but I never heard this one! Great Job! What elso do you have?

  • Kool song! Kool pics! Totally sounds like 75 or 76 era KISS! The best times!

  • Sounds like "MR. Speed" from R n R over to me. Very cool song though.

  • @TheLlama55 ; Yep, same style! :-)

  • @TheLlama55 They definetly used parts of this for Mr. Speed later...

  • @FunWithFlipCam and the begining sounds abit like chrostine sixteen

  • Cool song!

  • Kool! Big fan, never heard this one. Saved in my favs!

  • @MrMavilla1 Thank You!!!

  • The pics ain't that rare, if you have or seen Kisstory can see these pics.

  • @spidey5959 As you can see, many people do not know some of the photos, nor know this song, many of the photos belong to the book KISS Vintage Photo's - 1974 - 1981

  • @Mikeroo999, just because many of the pictures were found on the internet does not mean they are not rare. It takes extensive searching to find new photos that many fans have not seen. Yerblues clearly did a lot of work to put together a great montage. I've seen LOADS of older KISS photos and many were new to me. There really is no need for sarcasm.

  • @ValJeanSmith Correct.

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent job on the video, man.

  • @genesimmonspwnage Thank You!!!

  • Cool tune!

  • Great job putting all those pictures together,I really enjoyed the montage.I also collect pictures and I have over 10,000 that dates from the 70's.On your video my favorite is 3.25 I just love it.

  • The music itself is not all that rare. It sounds like an instrumental I have called "Daily Planet" and "Doncha Hesitate" onthe second disc of the boxed set, and "Mr. Speed" off of Rock-n-Roll Over. They were always good at rewriting a song 50 times...

  • Very nice and great edited Vid! I will always love these guys! KISS (I'm a Fan since 1977)

  • This is a really good rock n roll song. This early songs is great. I guess it from 1973-75.

  • This is a good song

  • Ace was so cute without the make up! Gene Simmons was ugly with or without the make up

  • Never heard this one. Pretty cool with sort of 'Brown Sugar' stones like riff. Thanks for posting it and ROCK ON!

  • Great video !!!

  • I love KISS, the 70 were the best .. Ace Frehley is amazing

    cool pictures :)

  • Great job on the video! I'm one of the biggest KISS fans around, and I had forgotten about a lot of these pics.

  • sounds like the stones

  • It sounds like Mr. Speed came from this song.

  • somewhat rare, heard it before

  • anyone here buy Ace's book?

  • @XYtruck25 Yeah I got it from my wife for x-mas. Its great so far. Im up to about the time frame when they did alive 1. I suggest it for anyone that wants another point of veiw the isnt genes.

  • Yes,I did. And I must say it is a real page turner!!!

  • @tomwebermusic cool, thanks for telling me. I always liked in the early 80's Ace and Eric Carr playing together. I think that was the best line up. I hope Ace talks about Eric Carrin his book.

  • @XYtruck25 He does speak fondly about Eric who was known to be such a down to earth guy.

  • Part of this was used in Mr. Speed so it is most likely pre-1977.

  • Awsome song they should have put it on an LP

  • very good picures keep up the great work and a very good song

  • so rare it's available to anyone with an internet connection

  • @Mikeroo999 then fuck you look for? If you do not like doing to listen to justin bieber asshole!

  • @YERBLUES87 try again but maybe in some form of English this time? I haven't got anything against KISS, I think all 9 year old boys should have comic book hero type characters to worship and if they are born to be gay it will help them come out of the closet faster.

  • @Mikeroo999 ASSININE STATEMENT...WHAT IN heck are you talking about..u muxt need to come out...go for it...you must be what all of twenty...know nothing about the roots of rock...and nothing about music or KISS...if you know nothing do not speak...better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool, then to open it and remove all doubt. Scary

  • @Mikeroo999

KISS have sold around 100 mio records. this vid is seen around 40.000 times. the relation therefore is 1:2500. aint that rare?

I guess ,we the fans, really don't need such overcritizising ppl like you.

  • It's KISS' n roll.......GREAT.

  • photo of ace and paul at 0:23 is awesome!

  • this is smoke!

  • This does sound like something that might have been recorded for Dressed To Kill or maybe Destroyer... I was thinking Mr Speed as well...which was demoed during the Dressed sessions originally. Anyway...it is a great tune....and the video u made is top notch!!!!!

  • I love it! Thanks for diggin' this one out!!!

  • the song is great, it sounds like it may have morphed into Mr. Speed or something?

  • In the 70s there were NO pictures of these guys without make up. Wow!

  • Thanks for the KISSmas present.

  • Yea but its the smoke that kills ya........

  • It probably wasn't released because it sounds too much like the Rolling Stones

  • @darthinfurnus You're right, that was the first thing that came to mind when I heard it... I'm gonna guess it's from the Love Gun sessions - just has that feel to it.

  • with all that has gone on with this band over the past 40 years, I am wondering why this song has never seen the light of day until now? This should have probably been released in the 1975-1977 period. It would have fit well on the box set or even Sonic Boom if it was re-done by the current band. Either way, it's a great song and I hope to hear it on an album soon!

  • @cleanandsober2009 I agree, it would be great to hear the next album!

  • FUCKING A!!! :D

  • well its not rare anymore!

  • Very interesting. Huge old Kiss fan and I had never seen most of the photos. Some would have made great posters. I have never heard that song either and again, I thought i knew them all.

  • this is kick ass thanks for posting!!!

  • 3:13 ace has the strongest card :D

  • when i did not listened to kiss music i thought they were a death metal band because of the costumes and makeup

  • Great Pics..!!

  • Fuckin' awsome thanks for this. some good pictures in there.

  • 1:42 = FAGGOT!

  • @AVOLITE

    shut-up homo!!

  • those are all rare pictures, where did you get them man

  • @Clnt874 I do not remember, but remove them from different pages, forums, etc.

  • @Clnt874

Some ive seen from a tour book from the KISS reunion tour which my dad got from the Australian shows.

  • correct!

  • 1:23 that is not paul with a beard, it cant be!

  • @talbott4 I believe that is Billy Miller with the beard. He was a tour manager. His picture and comments can be found in the authorized biography.

  • @talbott4 No, It's Jonny Z. Owner of megaforce records, this picture is from the late 80's, aces solo band was signed to megaforce. Google Jonny Z megaforce if you dont believe me.

  • Sounds like Shout it Out Loud to me... maybe with Mr. Speed and parts of Ladies Room...

  • Sounds like Shout it Out Loud to me

  • Parts of the chorus are very similar to Mr. Speed.

  • that is not ace playing lead. no way on earth

  • fantastic

  • This is soo fuckin goood. good work mate

  • great song, too bad they didn't re-release all of their albums with some demos and unreleased songs like Motley Crue did, and put this one on Dressed to Kill

  • Ha ha 3:10 :D :D And video is great, good job 3;)

  • Brilliant!

  • @MrMBW124 thank you!

  • for sure bob kulick on guitar.....

  • Cool song it should have been on a album

  • what album session?

  • GREAT PHOTOS VERY RARE!!!!!

  • thumbs up !!!

  • @KISSARMYHQHD thank you!

  • The leads sound very Wicked Lester-ish. I'm only talking about the tone and over all tone and sustain of the leads. Definitly sounds like Dontch Hesitate. This might have been dropped from Dressed to Kill, but that would be hard to believe since Kill was a short album. Remember how long the silence was in between songs on the original vinyl release? So best guess is like pegazzo1 said, Written for Destroyer and abandoned due to Ezrin's direction.

  • According to Julian Gill, this song, It Ain't the Smoke, was post-Dressed to Kill but before Ezrin which would place it in 1975. First time I've heard it. It was just "uncovered" in July 2010. This is likely from a demo that they were using to prep for the next record. Ezrin wanted to move them away from this type of song, and so they did! Not sure who played here. I am sure that Ace isn't on this. Most likely it was Paul who played all the guitars. The pictures here are great!

  • Sounds a bit like "Don't Ya Hesitate" on the box set. Probably Paul wrote it, right? Seems like it has that "Strutter" Chuck Berry, rhythm-ish figure to it. I think it's great, I would listen to it like I listen to the rest of their stuff. I've said it before to anyone who would listen....Gene and Paul are two completely underrated songwriters...

  • @decristo1021 totally agree!

  • Room service ´s embrion

  • classic here omg they are young in alot of this pic's lol!!!!

  • i have this from some kiss bootleg comp. i thought the name was just "Smoke"

  • YES

    THANKS FOR COMMENT!

  • great stuff! love the pics, too! some of those are from Paul Stanley's personal collection that he recently made public, right? thanks for posting
