One of the problems with the Razer stuff is your Windows mouse Cursor speed adjustment. You want to keep the "Windows" speed as low as possible, and adjust up the speed in the Razer Mouse Config software.

I have a Razer Naga Epic, and the cursor shakes on it, it's actually considered a common problem among razer mice, but I think this just depends on the mouse; you just so happened to get a mouse that didn't come with that problem. Proud?

I also use the on the fly buttons on top for sniping in games and i go to about 4000. but i do agree, anyone who buys a $50 mouse pad is a fucking idiot, and i guess you are. i got a $12.00 rocketfish gaming pad and its great. mousepads by razer are the only thing severely overpriced. my lycosa and charcharias are great too!

personally, i prefer the imperator. adjustable side buttoms, dpi buttons on the top, feels WAY better than the mamba, and for those outdated, razer came out with the 4G dual laser system, which the new improved imperator has. so yea, to people who spent $120 on a 5600 dpi mamba in 2010, dont cry too hard when u know i got the new 4g dual laser 6400 dpi imperator for $80 :) there is a new mamba too for all u freaks, its green now instead of blue, 6400 dpi also.

@mcxios The razer mamba is a lovely mouse. It along with a decent hardmat improved my gaming 10fold. My Logitech G9 was soon to be dead, it would jitter really hard and just freeze if it flick it fast, I play professionally in CSS, and COD series for fun, and also BC2 here and there. I love it for photoshopping along with daily work in wireless. The only thing I dont like is the surface, me being the guy that gets sweaty.. I have to clean it with a wet cloth on occasion.

I think you should realize that yours probably isn't built like everyone elses. I mean it is, but its not exactly the same. mine is easy to pull out too, but I had issues getting the usb in, for whatever reason its actually off by alittle bit and i have to force it, but i've heard people saying taht it goes in easy.

just a heads up, broke the left click and one of the thumb buttons. bought a g700 by Logitech and so far, both has its pros and cons. One thing I don't like about the g700 is its many thumb buttons, but it took me a while to get used to the mamba ones also.

@tero477 If you plug in the dock, the drivers should install. After that you've gotta put your mouse on "on" under the mouse. Wait ~5 secs. Try it, still don't work? Put on "off" and then "on" again. Wait ~5 secs and try it.

If it still don't work, ask yourself this: "Do I gotta an usb headset? Or an g15 or something like an heavy usb-powered apparature?" Then it might work plugging in the razer mamba through the front usb. And try the previous steps again.

If you do have a problem with your Mamba or any other mouse its not the company that manufactured the mouses fault its your own. Ive watched plenty of reviews on the Mamba and the people that have problems with it are the ones who miss treat the mouse. Ive seen a guy just throw his mouse onto his desk and then he wonders why he has a problem with it.

Some other guy picked his dock up looked at it and just dropped it back onto his desk from quite high.

So u have no one else to blame but yourself.

you might encounter the z-axis problem found in all razer's laser mice. Death adder doesnt have that problem. so if you dont get the z-axis your lucky. never buying a razer mouse again :/

Mine definitely squeaked, but I just took it apart and lubed the part where it clicks and scrolls. The "shaking" of the cursor really depends on the mouse pad also. You can't use a 5600dpi on cheap cloth mouse~ I'd suggest a Razer Destructor or Steel Series hard pads.

It will not come out accidentaly.

Buy two MX revolutions for the price of this.

I tried it in an internet cafe on COD6, its good & fast but not as comfortable & does not have as many options as the MX.

Some say its faster then the MX but not if you change the MX speed in setpoint.

It also gets uncomfortable in your hand after a while but with the MX I can play all day & night without any discomfort.
