should I buy sand tires for my dirt bike if i plan to ride in Pismo? like is it necesary?

this might be a little late, but sand tyres are fun as hell. But normal tyres are cool, just dont ride moose or them too hard. Ride hard and fall because its so much fun.
PS: take PLENTY filters =)

what did you do about the sand getting into your bikes im scared i dont want to ruin my engine or is it ok?
