Playing ????? that is hardly playing Lady , maybe I should hoock you up with a bit like that in your mouth and such jhard work and you tell me how much fun you have ??? everything you say is so " la deeda " the reality is that these horses work hard ... no play .... especially when they are ridden and pull on hard in double bridle with their face on their chests ... is that play also ... PLEASE GET REAL
You do not know me. You do not know my horse. You do not know my farm. I never use a double bridle. My horses are happy and Friesians do like their work. I usually ignore stupid comments but in this case, you are really a complete ass.
What a nice comment. Dahlia is doing very well. I will breed her this spring for the third time. I still have Tara, her first born, who will be 3 in April. I cannot wait to see if Tara loves driving like her mom. Somehow I think she will.
Thanks! Ive got my mare in "REFRESHER" course for driving, she stood around for 4 years having babies..but, that is over for now..its driving time! Wish us luck! oh by the way,,,of couse, she is Friesian~! Ive taken
I'll do that! Best of luck with your horse. Have fun - they are just wonderful, as you know. BTW, this mare, Dahlia, is due with her baby in a month :)
they are right you have a PhD in Friesians! i do have a few questions for you...where is friesland? What language is spoken there? and when are the big Friesiand events (one or most) I like in the US if thats helps for anything
Your Mare is Outstanding! I was/am a huge fan of her father Thomas. Dahlia is a Lovely Driving horse, I hope to one day own a foal by her. She is a credit to her breed. As I've said to you before... I think you have a PhD in Friesians. Thank you for these great videos... QuietWinter Farm Jacquie Skadeland
Thank you :) She is too fat from the medicine she has to take for her pregnancy (her baby is due in May). Maybe the jury will like her and maybe not. But I like her.

She's a lovely mare & mover! Can't really see the "short & chunky" in this vid. :-) Probably due to her great frame/carriage!

I just love watching this video! Where did you get the driving harness from?
rosebudsrose 3 years ago
I am pretty sure it is a zilco harness. Good training harness - just hose it off!
