  • Most of the CHP offiicers that I have met, have been OK, however I just met

one that is an ASSHOLE !

His name is Wheatley and he works in the San Bernardino area.

Has anyone else come across this FUCKHEAD ?

Is there an avenue to complain about DICKWEEDS on the force?

Automatic impounding of vehicles should be against the law!

They are ALL on the TAKE !!!

  • @smellmyfartgas OR you could just obey the law. WOW!!! theres an epiphany :I

  • Why did the CHP take off the hub caps off the cars? I think police cars without the hub caps look ugly. The caps added a nice classy look to the CHP cars. I know it not about looks..its about whatever reason they took off the caps.

  • @carnivalpride Too many were falling off

  • CHP is a bankrupt California's answer to balance the budget. You guys are overpaid and dont deserve any respect for what you do to mostly good citizens.

  • them cars look slow as any person could get away from them cops in the US with a high performance car

  • I love the CHP ,I just hate California because how much money they spend

  • @sjgiants12

you're ignorant. we're the most populated state. so it's no wonder we spend a lot. but i will admit we do have too many social programs. I agree everyone cannot just get government help because they need it. Hell everyone needs help life ain't easy. Cut the programs for the illegals and welfare. If the people receiving welfare work the jobs the illegals have, then maybe we'd be able to eradicate the illegal problem because they'll know there is no better illegal life here.

  • Why are some marked CHP units all white?

  • when I was stationed in california I met a few chp that did the job they had but alot are lazy. One chp officer spent a whole month trying to get back at me for having is patrol car towed for being illegally parked on military property. He ran out of gas and didn't notify us to request our permission to push it off the road on to our property.

  • Highway Patrol can kiss my ass. You guys do nothing to help society, just fucking tax collectors on wheels. The Police are the ones who actually protect people and serve the community.

  • whats the music?

  • Ahh ok. Thank you for responding back to my comment. I really appreciated. Thank you.

  • hey germanmonkey stop being a hater! There's cop's that like rap music. Trust me i know some.

  • Hi, my name is David. Are you a CHP officer? I want to become a CHP Officer but unfortunately there is a freeze in the hiring process. I will get my bachelor summer 2010 in Sociology and Law and Society. Is there any recommendation that you can give me? Thank you.

  • @AMERICA12345678 Hey, sorry for the late response but i had been very busy lately. Anyway i have no recommendation for you because i'm not a CHP officer and i'm more into the fire rescue, so sorry, but keep asking around, i bet you'll find someone, and again sorry.

  • hang in there this has happened b4

  • @chpsecrets Thanks. Thats what I will do. I will wait for my time. are you an officer?

  • @AMERICA12345678 I used to work for the CHP from 1989-1990 in the purchasing unit. At the time, there was an age restriction before you can enter the academy. As of now, there shouldn't be a job freeze on CHP. Check on their website for verification. Here's a little known fact for the CHP. In the years of 1989-1990, the CHP was trying out a new vehicle on the test track at the academy. They purchased 7 vehicles for 7 dollars. They called it the Toyota Camry. I know this for a fact.

  • ok seriously who would post a video of the CHP while playing rap in the background???.... this agency is not impressed by this kind of music in any way...do me and the CHP as well as the citizens of california a huge favor, please never apply for CHP and waste our time....

    Thanks a lot

  • @germanmonkey18 Look, different people have different opinion, just because you think that doesn't mean others do. Don't believe me, read some of the comments. Also, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything. I would thank you, but it's to late for that

  • Four types of people wear the badge.

    1. Highschool football player who loves to hurt and pick on people, and now gets to let that aggression out on anyone he likes.

    2. Person that used to be picked on and now gets to "get back" at "them" for treating him badly.

    3. Ex military dumb ass who wasn't worth a damn as an SP or MP and now has not other options but to be a cop.

    4. The rarest of them all, the guy who is trying to help the community.

    Which are you?

  • @allteeth lemme guess ur some fat slob that couldnt keep her husband happy

  • I just wanted to stop in and thank you. Thanks for showing up after shit has gone down. Thanks for telling beaten women that until their violent husband "does" something its just "threats" and you can't help. THanks for directing traffic while Fire and EMT do hero work. THanks for pulling over those barely speeding but can't get the DUI I called in and am following. Your goddamn useless.

Remember, thats fake respect you get on the road. You all make me sick.

  • @allteeth They can't do anything, arrest, husband for some STUPID threats. What are we going to say in court, "oh we arrest him for some threats thats all." That stupid. They have to direct traffic because the not train to do fire and EMT jobs. They're pulling over speeder to teach them a lesson, to make the road SAFE. And even if you're "barely" speeding, it's still speeding. It's good that you follows DUI's but remember we're limited. I don't care if they make you cuz sick you make us sick

  • @policefire911 dont pay that lady no mind....shes full of shit

  • @policefire911 Speeding isn't even a real offense, its bullshit. If youre paying attention and there's light traffic, you should be allowed to go as fast as you like.

  • @sociopathicregret If your going as fast as you want, you're being careless, and when you are being careless, you are increasing the chance for a crash. It doesn't matter if there's light, moderate, or heavy traffic, there's still traffic, and still the chance for a crash. Speeding is going to increase that chance, regardless of the traffic condition.

  • @policefire911 No you are not, the autobahn in Germany has no speed limit for most of the road. Are people all going 140 mph stupidly? No. Is the accident rate lower? Yes. The problem is that license tests are too easy and people are allowed to get away with bullshit like tailgating and aggressive driving too much because police are too busy sitting on the side of the road taking peoples speeds...which IS pointless. Speeding has nothing to do with the CAUSE, which is whats important.

  • @policefire911 And no, speeding is just exceeding the number, it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with driving unsafely for the conditions. You can be driving unsafely under the speed limit, at the speed limit, and over the limit. Most people ignore the limit and just drive what feels comfortable. Driving unsafely for the conditions increases the chance of a crash dramatically, speeding (exceeding an often arbitrary and outdated limit) does not.

  • @sociopathicregret ... ur really funny because I really think that's a serious joke. Wow...

  • @robbiea872 Really? So if the speed limit is underposted at 25 mph on a 4 lane road, and you crash at 35 mph because you were being stupid and trying to reach for something in your glove compartment while not paying attention to the road and ram right into the concrete divider, then its 'speed related'?

  • @sociopathicregret Yes... if the speed limit is 25 mph and you were traveling over the posted speed limit at the time of your crash that is a "speed related crash." But in reality the speed limit would not be that slow and if it was there would be a reason for it.

  • @robbiea872 Not true. I've seen this...also we have a 6 lane highway that is posted 40 due to being a work zone. Except only 500 feet has actual work being done. The rest is completely open with absolutely zero obstructions. And you know what? They enforce the limit REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WORKERS ARE PRESENT. Is there a reason for that? Speed limits are sometimes set arbitrarily. There are old statues that govern these....if towns and authorities dont like the fair 85th percentile limit

They get people in the middle of the night for not going 40 on an open 6 lane highway with nothing being done. In the area with obstructions, 45 is fine.

  • @robbiea872 But not in the open area. Is there a reason for that? Speed limits are sometimes set arbitrarily. There are old statues that govern these....if towns and authorities dont like the fair 85th percentile limit they can often set the limit arbitrarily low according to outdated vague statutes which could be interpreted a ton of different ways. The point is, if you crash in an arbitrarily low posted area, they will call it speed related when the real danger is

  • @sociopathicregret not driving for the conditions. I have seen roads of similar built posted VASTLY different and called up and often its based on a technicality because the town complained or something. Often roads are posted WAY below the safe 85th percentile speed. You can't say all or even most are fair then. The safe driving speed is not determined by the number on the sign. Keep in mind also that sometimes roads are posted low for congestion, but are enforced at midnight. 100% unfair.

  • @sociopathicregret Not driving for the conditions, which isn't determined by the sign necessarily.

  • @robbiea872 But not in the open area. Is there a reason for that? Speed limits are sometimes set arbitrarily. • @allteeth wow LADY ur ignorant as fuck...get a life

  • Nice video man, finally a video where the ford vic CHP is nice presented in it!

  • Sweet cars! Hopefully I can drive one of those in a few months.

  • OMG your going to be a CHP with THAT comment?

    what are you 13

  • What don't you understand? Am I supposed to ride a scooter on the freeway to chase people?

  • some people just might say yes lol

  • i dont like when police cars have the full hubcap.

  • I don't really care about the wheels that much.

  • Thats the first thing I thought when I saw this...

  • Watch out for these CARS! They are like swine flu! Victimizing drivers and commuters in California. Sucking money out from their pockets!

  • LOL....they wont suck money from your pocket if your not speeding or doing anything that is illegal. lame post....u should be retired from youtube!

  • jetta1hotdvub --------- There are numbers of those GOVERNMENT DOGS out on the street and Highway. You think all of them are straight? hahahaha! Many of them are corrupt and always in a hurry to catch up their QUOTAS! hahahaha! Yes, folks! Watch out! These government dogs have quotas to catch up! So be careful........

  • Simply by reading your post i can tell that you are grossly misinformed about law enforcement and that you have no clue how it operates

  • no quotas dumb ass

  • @jettas1hotdvub Your comment is nonsensical.

  • @jettas1hotdvub "u should be retired from youtube". since when is youtube an occupation?

  • Don't break the law, and they wont get you! SIMPLE!!!

  • policefire911 ------ Not with the bad economy.... DURING BAD ECONOMY, Traffic citations rise up dramatically. I am sure you know that! Police dogs are ordered to triple their QUOTA to bring money to the corrupt officials.

  • in my opinion, the chp cruisers look the best. the only thing though is that i don't really like the LED light bar on the car at 1:25. i prefer the vector light bar, but i wouldn't mind having LED's in them like the NYPD

  • True, I agree, but I think Slicktops is the best looking ones, like the one on 2:41

  • yea i like the slick tops to but not the all white cas i like the black and white cars

but if i had to have lght bar id rather have the LED light bar it looks sleeker

  • Yes, however LEDs are not as bright at long distances or during the day.

  • Where did you find these pictures?

  • I just really hate to see those FAKING PIG CARS on the street and highway. They are victimizing commuters so harsh! Pulling over drivers even w/o violation! Faking pigs! Their job is freaking boring! people hate them! Their not making that much, you know? Most of them live in a studio apartment. DIE PIGS!

  • TALKINGABOUTTRUTH - You have no clue what you're talking about. Quit breaking the law and maybe you wouldn't get pulled over. You have to be the biggest idiot on the internet.

  • Thank you, at least you know the importance of law enforcement.

  • I live the dream my friend. Talkingabouttruth will need us one day, and yes we'll be there to help.

  • Whats with this music? Its f---ing horrible. CHP deserves better!

You cant spell CRAP without RAP..

  • Theres a camaro CHP that cruises around here

  • why did the CHP take off the hub caps from the cars? I think the cars look horrible without the caps. I know its not about the look of the car. However, it ruins the cool look of the cars.

  • Yea, I agree with you, I like the car with the rims on 1:01 to 1:41.

  • They were not hubcaps, they were metal rims. They stoped making those because they weighed more and were more expensive to make. Also to get rid of the reflection.

  • you couldnt be any more wrong. They are indeed hubcaps. I drive a police crown vic at work and it had those same hubcaps. I believe they were only on for one or 2 model years. The small center cap setup works better and results in less loss of wheelcovers on patrol.

  • Ya sorry Roger for the late response disabledwonder got it. Mostly for commerical. Oh and they now have LED light on most of the patrol cars:) Came quicker then i thought. Got us out of suprise.

  • what is the purpose of the steady burning red light?

  • lol did you get pulled over. Most officers use it so they don't make a seen. distract traffic. I use code 3 all the time with the wig wag and siren. And at night they use it because druck drivers are attracted to light. So they just use the red to shine in front of the car not the back. So they don't get rear ended while on a stop.

  • ha ha no i didn't get pulled over. i live in Tennessee. i was just wondering about it. are they on every emergency vehicle or just law enforcement?

  • In California, the vehicle code requires all emergency vehicles have to have a "steady burning forward facing red light." Most of them have it up on the overhead lightbar or on the dash or on the passenger side sun visor, but they can also have it on the spot light.

No other reason than California requiring it. Even the firetrucks, ambulances, and paramedics have to have it.

  • Now most angencies usually have the driver side of the patrol unit farther out about a foot and a half or so, so if someone tries to side-swipe them, it would be much harder to hit the cop. Most angencies do that now because incidents like side-swipes happened and would injure officers.

  • The white patrol cars are mainly commerical enforcement.

  • LED sorry not ELD type too fast need to slow down

  • Are the solid white CHP cars assigned to specific duties rather than the black and whites? Thanks, Roger.

  • CHP just rules!!!! Oh and they are called the ELD light bars and the CHP are not getting them yet. Kinda Sucks :/

  • yeah, but CHP get to carry the AR...that pretty much makes up for any stinkin light bar any day of the week - especially @ S.F. Springs or Baldwin Park

  • What are the cars with the flat lightbars? Is the CHP going to a newer model of lightbars?

  • Alot of departments found out there more visible than others

  • Can't wait.. I'm also excited to hear it is LP as I am going to their concert in Irvine.

  • That's cool.

  • I'm sorry i meant what is the song it is awesome!

  • it's alright,I know what you mean, and the song is "we made it" by Linkin Park and Busta Rhymes. If you liked this video,I'm making another one with more pics and more music, called "California Highway Patrol II"

  • I have one question, who did the music?

  • I did the music,why you ask?

  • Thanks for sharing it is an awesome video.

  • If you liked this video,I'm making a better one with more picture and a diferent song.

  • This is a nice collection of CHP vehicles. I especially like the photo in front of the Las Vegas sign.

    Thanks for sharing.

Born, raised and still reside in Cupertino, Ca.

  • Thanks,and I liked that picture too.

  • Cool. They do a great job, I live in CA.
