  • :23 hahaha

  • I'm sure she's a nice person, but as an entertainer, she didn't do a thing for me. I wish her all the best in her future ventures, but she really didn't leave much of a hole in SNL when she left.

  • Jenny Slate reminds me of Deena from Jersey Shore.

  • FUCK censorship

  • I like the way she's sitting

  • are you not alowed to drop the f bomb on SNL or something...?

  • @Nadia2015

you can't swear on national television

  • lol it took her a sec to realize that she said it and then shes like oh crap

  • Not the first time this happened. back in 1982 i believe. one cast member dropped the F bomb. But I think that one was on purpose. IT went something like this:

First time I got shot in my life, I like to know who fucking did it.

  • kirsten wigg is the only funny girl on snl at the moment

  • Why should you care what people say anyway? Word are words!

  • SNL realizes that nobody gives a fuck about hearing "the F bomb", but the censors do and they have to pay a LOT of money anytime somebody drops one.

That's why its a big deal.

  • i watched this live on t.v and didnt notice it. the next day someone told me. whats the big deal?

  • Even if kids were watching, it's a word, not fucking porn. Who cares?

  • Um, what world do you live in where you don't understand that parents don't want filthy words ingrained into their kids brains?

  • @sHART1780 Parents shouldn't have their kids up past midnight.

  • oh i dont think it was a big deal. i mean, the words are very similar, and when your saying "freakin" all the time, its hard not to accidently say the word. i hope she doesnt get fired.

  • i rmemeber when i was little mom didnt even like it when i say freeking and she still doesnt like it

  • EPIC FAIL!! :D

  • Doesn't snl play at 12:00 like I don't think many kids are watching , it's no big deal

  • If you people have time to sit around and post comments on youtube about this, do yourselves a favor and look up LEGITIMATE news stories while you're at it. She's not getting fired, she's not getting "sued" (I believe you mean to say fined) and it's unlikely that the FCC will fine anyone at all over this (although they still have a right to and may). This is the risk a show runs when airing live television but then again consider Comedy Central's "Secret Stash" where NO swears are ever censored.

  • I wish she was getting fired just because ofthae fact that she's not funny at all. But then again they'd have to fire everyone else on the show since no one on there is funny anymore.

  • @sHART1780

you obviously havent watched this season at all and/or apparently have no sense of humor. snl is freakin hilarious... sure they had a rough couple of years during the 00's but this season is really funny... they have a really good writing team and the cast works well with each other.. now jenny slate, shes not the greatest on the show at all... but everyone else still rocks.

  • Paul Shaffer did this on the show over 30 years ago. The skit where John was Queen Victoria and they did the queen's minstrels. Bill Murray couldn't drum...remember? Funny as fuck.

  • do you think NBC set this up at all to give attention to this ever dying program series. i mean SNL has been on a downslope for at least 5 years now.

maybe this will bring more awareness to the program... or maybe not.

all in all SNL better get some "special" talent soon like they had in the 80's and 90's otherwise, this show is not even youtubing parts like this!

    -Sleeping on saturday nights

  • sr20DETdrift :

The agency that regulates on air programming here in the USA is the FCC, Federal Communications Commission, not the FAA or the FDA, it's the FCC.

  • FUCK she's gonna get sued. not a big deal to most people but faa or fda whatever that bullshit is, is gonna fuck her over

  • wasn't funny and so what !

  • LOL I've got friends like this.

  • I didn't even notice she said fuck when I watched it during the actual thing. Weird.

  • yup. watched the whole skit [barely made it out alive] and never noticed she said "fuck".

probably because i was already brain dead at that point.

  • I'm gonna say it:

    SNL sucks now.

    We we're all thinking it.

  • They never really knew how to end a skit. ever.

  • She said Frikin twice then fuckin, Lol

  • shaffer did the same, with floggin' this and floggin' that.

  • wow i'm sorry i fell asleep early last saturday

  • shove up your ass dude.

  • That skit wasn't funny, but woman can be funny. Don't get it confused.

  • didnt that chick at the very begining say fuck?

  • no. turn up the sound and you can hear her better. i thought the same thing too.

  • lol at the look on her face

  • hire zach gafilianakis and michael cera instead

  • What the fuck was up with the writing? Saying "freaking" over and over is funny? Then in the Russian Mail order bride skit...repeating how the "ugly" girl is only 10 dollars less OVER AND OVER is funny as well? This shit wasn't funny at all...it was sad. The first skit of the night with the airplane crashing was a bomb as well.

With that said...FIRE JENNY SLATE because of fucking lack of professionalism and that dumb ass face she made.

  • o my god this skit was so stupid idk wat they thought was funny about this

  • I'm in Minnesota and i heard it, so that discounts any east coast only theory.

She went all Charlie Rocket up in that Mamma Jamma!

  • I went back to the article I had read and It said the West Coast didn't hear it so I assumed that since SNL is recorded in the EST time zone that the East Coast was the only area that got it live. My sincere appologies for making an assumption but I fail to see where you're getting an "East Coast theory" out of this.

  • ya, the midwest also heard it, not just the east coast.

  • SNL is so bad these days, they will take what they can get in the publicity arena.

  • For those of you wondering Jenny Slate will NOT be fired for the slip. According to published reports the execs had a big meeting about it and although she's definitely in the hot seat, it was her first major sketch on her first show so they won't outright fire her for it. Only the east coast heard it anyway. They edited in a "frickin" for the later airings across the country. And due to it occuring at about 12:40 am eastern time, well after primetime, SNL isn't likely to see ANY FCC fines.

  • i second this report.....(if it means anything 2 anyone...LOL)

  • i love her face afterwards!

  • Even though SNL is considered "LIVE" it runs on a 7 second delay in case something like that happens.

I think SNL allowed it to get through because their ratings have been so bad ... They need the free publicity... seriously!

  • you are wrong about that. i've taken the NBC tour on the SNL set before and they made it very clear that there is no delay. what you see while watching is as live as live can get.

  • The show needs to just switch out the entire cast and writers. Technically it's perfect! Kudos stage hands, control room, and camera people!

  • I didn't even notice....I just though this skit was so bad anyway.............VERY unfunny....even Kristin couldn't save it.

The last guy that dropped the f-bomb on SNL got axed.......his career slowly declined....and he eventually committed suicide....totally true...very sad story actually.

  • He only dropped the f-bomb because he knew he was going to be axed anyway

  • The sound is amazing. By that I mean, where the hell is it?

  • @buddygroove LOL forreal

  • This scene was fucking hilarious

  • ooooooh you said a bad woooooord!

  • I remember her saying the F-word, but I didn't think twice about it. I guess, b/c I'm just used to hearing and saying curse words that they don't even phase me anymore. I did wonder why she puffed up her cheeks, but I didn't make the connection between her doing that and saying the F-word. lol

  • i was watching it live as well and i didn't pick up on it either..

  • Publicity stunt. NBC probably told her to say that to draw attention to SNL.

    Book it.

  • 0:22

  • yea, my whole body grew warm after she said it.

  • my virgin ears are going to explode
