love the song, and the underlying message that the rich treat the poor as though they're disposable is still true, but after reading up on neutron bombs I understand the intention behind their invention. They were meant to stop soviet tanks from over running western Europe during the cold war. Tanks are more susceptible to enhanced radiation than the normal heat and blast effects of standard nukes.
