The action and editing was effective... this is exactly where Spielberg started- read his bio. I am sure his first were not perfect and this was likely better than his firsts... good job. The sergeant's marine told him he'll cover him, so the sergeant wanted for him to clear the way (which appeared as if he did, cuz he took out one guy and got the other one with a grenade). They obviously didn't know a sniper was in the bushes until he shot. Then the sniper was killed. Your comment has been rendered invalid.

@justin7477 most of my ww2 gear and uniforms is from ebay. The german uniforms are make shift jackets i got at a thift store for around 10 dollars. US helmets were purchased at surplus stores and than restored with correct ww2 accesories and paint. Thanks man it means alot. I hope that helped! :D

@XELITEMODZX the weapons were airsoft guns like the thompson and mp40. The m1 rifle and the bolt action were purchased from ebay. Most of the gear was baught from ebay and from antique shops and surplus stores.

@Eatfood04 Bullet impacts were made with baby powder. The explosions and bullet hits were done with a trick where u take a simple 1 X 4 board like for fences and than u balance it on a rock or another peice of wood. Put down baby powder with a mix of natural dirt and sticks on thehalf of the board thats touching the ground . Try to hide it much as u can. If not possible film the shot so its the board isnt seen. Than u have the actor run by and step on the side of board thats clean and boom
