Thanks. The Japanese library is indeed even more elaborate sporting hundreds of interesting titles. One can only image what it would be like having the language skills of Luke Morse being fluent in Japanese.
It does have an awesome collection. Tons of platformers and shmups - that type of genre was my favorite on the C64 for a long time so when I discovered the Megadrive it was like entering Walhalla or Stovokor!
Yeah, been collecting for that mostly the past months, the nes could be a good second or the c64. Just too tough a question for me - it will vary over time :P
Yeah, I am still contemplating on how to hook everything up - so that it is all ready to play without having to fiddle with wires and power plugs and such....
Ive gotta sort a few things out later and make way for my genesis and have it hooked up as atm its just sitting on the side so gonna have a mess around later and sort it out i think :)
Hey I watched the Matrix just a while ago - whenever someone says ONE - I hear Morpheus talking about Neo bla bla bla. Well figures we watched the three movies in a row so that figures ;)
But of course Highlander - gotta watch those in a row as well.
good choice! love the megadrive, and the japanese version has a lot of interesting games

Thanks, it's a very nice console in my opinion. I also like the durability and build-quality of the thing.

Megadrive schmegadrive! SNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
That is, of course, if c64 doesn't count.

The Snes is a cool piece of kit, but to my ears the sound is very off key - could be a PAL thing though.
Great library of games though.
The c64 will always have a special place... you're right on that.

Really? Wow! Well I certainly agree it has a great library!

Well today it would be the C64 and the Vic-20 as I just unpacked them and wondering how on earth I am going to set it all up.
Tomorrow it will be the Dreamcast and a little later on the Saturn.
The Megadrive/Genesis has an awsome library - especially the shmup department is well stocked. But so do the Nes, Snes.
.... hard choice.

You know I HATE to break it to ya...........
I was actually doing Christopher Lambert in HIGHLANDER saying "there can only be one"
Where as NEO in the Matrix is "The One"
But hey lol! It's all good, thanks for taking the time and making the effort, looking forward to it!

Haha I thought it was clear he was meaning Highlander as well. You need to watch that movie, huh, mark?
