You can become English regardless of your genetic background if you adopt the English identity (one of the English identities to be fair). There is no barrier to people becoming English except the claim to a competing identity. For example the English would have no problem with saying that Rod Stewart was English, but his insistence (against the evidence) that he is Scottish says that he can't be English.
The English are no more a mix than all other identities, the Scotts are a mix of Scottie and Pictish tribes with some Anglo-Saxon early English too as the English once occupied Northumbria which once went right into Scotland.

The English are a mix of people but the largest proportion of that mixture is native, most of my ancestors (especially on the female side) walked here and never crossed any sea, coming from the same stock as those who ended up in Ireland and Scotland. The word Scot comes from the name of an Irish tribe. The populations of the whole British Isles has been mixed up with some people's ancestors crossing the Irish Sea twice or more.

The English have a SACRED right to preserve their culture within their land. The white population is aging, a large part of the excess of whites will simply die off in the next twenty years while the younger generations have a much higher proportion of Muslims, and that is Muslims who regard themselves firstly as Muslim and therefore superior. FYI scripture does not, in fact, support slavery. Certainly not the kind of slavery we had, which was to steal free people and sell them for money. The Bible calls that "manstealing" and it carries the death penalty. And yes, it was the Christians, the Quakers to be specific, that figured out from what the bible said to do with refugee slaves (harbor and shelter them) to open the Underground railroad and eventually work to set them free. Btw. Islam hasn't done this, they still keep slaves.

The English have Anglo-Saxon tribal roots, this doesn't make them any less English, it just means they know their tribal roots, look into many other identities and their identity will have evovled out of tribal roots, usually built from numerous tribal groups into an ethnicity - an ethnic group.

You can become English regardless of your genetic background if you adopt the English identity (one of the English identities to be fair). There is no barrier to people becoming English except the claim to a competing identity. For example the English would have no problem with saying that Rod Stewart was English, but his insistence (against the evidence) that he is Scottish says that he can't be English.

The English are a mix of people but the largest proportion of that mixture is native, most of my ancestors (especially on the female side) walked here and never crossed any sea, coming from the same stock as those who ended up in Ireland and Scotland. The word Scot comes from the name of an Irish tribe. The populations of the whole British Isles has been mixed up with some people's ancestors crossing the Irish Sea twice or more.

The white population is aging, a large part of the excess of whites will simply die off in the next twenty years while the younger generations have a much higher proportion of Muslims, and that is Muslims who regard themselves firstly as Muslim and therefore superior. The high Muslim birth rates are staying high, not having children among the Muslims is almost unheard of, it is very common among whites.

why do people hate islam so much ? why do you always assume that islam is terrorism? if you met a real muslim and understood what Quarn is about you'll change your thoughts . but all of you are brain washed who believe only what they see on T.V .

@chocolate9500 I know several ex-Muslims and I regard them as my friends. This idea that it is only ignorance that leads people to say the truth about Islam is absurd and it will not wash with me. I don't hate Muslims, I hate what Islam does to people, turning them into hateful puppets of a long-dead tyrant, stripping them of their decency, their humanity and their self respect as people.

You're projecting from your own antisemitism, a form of racism derived from your religious beliefs. I don't have religious beliefs and I am not racist.

@chocolate9500 What I don't like about islam is that it threats my freedoms, and the freedoms of my future sons and daughters. As an Spanish and atheist I don't want my future daughters to wear a burqa, or I don't want to be ruled by the shariah, or an obsolete, archaic and ancient book. I don't care if the percentage of muslims grow as long as they keep their believes for themselves, and they don't rule spain as an islamic monarchy.
