The middle finger and two fingers was invented in med-evil times at in england. The french used to capture english archers and cut off the fingers the used to pull back the bow. Thats why most archers stuck there finger up at them to show that they still had them.

you see, that's just the thing, you say you don't like bad language and that the world should be kind and friendly, but bad language is not what's destroying the world, in fact bad language is only used because it is perceived as BAD language, so people use it when they are angry and want to do something they shouldn't, so they cuss, but if these words were not such a tabu, there would actually be less cussing in the world. I can't remember for sure, but I remember reading in some kid's Bible that Satan appeared before somepne as a Snake, and just said all the "cuss words" and dissapeared. So since satan used those words we can't use them either or we're doomed to hell. Goddammit.

yea..i think people(and by people i mean people who you don't know) feel offended by those words because they think it's unpolite and very rude...i don't know why but i don't get offended if someone curses near me...and in romania...u can find the worst curse words ever ... im only 13 and im glad my mom doesn't hear me when im outside the house
